Hi Jazz,

if iran is going to release free energy to the world in its form from nuclear power well its a start eh and a very big step in the right direction, however, there are better ways than using nuclear power plants to do it.
Now im not saying i think your right or wrong mate, but im sure glad we in this world have people like you who are not afraid to speak your mind regardless of the opinions in the negative from others.

USA should stay out of middle east business. Let the middle east solve their own problems. It is a shame that the corporations with middle east business interests own america and these same corporate profiteers want to own the middle east for its oil, minerals and global positioning. Expediency has been bad policy for far too long - I am aware that the quickest way to the fast buck is to take over and use up the easiest resource but there are other resources like hydrogen in seawater, windpower, solar energy, lightning that are more easily available but because of supply/demand the bad side effects of control and profit are there and the mindset among tptb needs to shift away from war/profit/control to peace/prosperity. TPTB are afraid of free markets, new energy inventions and innovations lest someone else come up with something better than oilwars and the power shifts to the innovator who is not interested in warprofit.

Iran's Nuclear Research Reactor

Iran has started loading domestically made nuclear fuel at a major research reactor for the first time - a defiant move in response to toughening Western sanctions.

They are stating what they are doing, loading domestically made nuclear fuel.
Defiant? I think not read the next quote.

Iran's deputy nuclear negotiator Ali Baqeri said the country had developed its own nuclear fuel because the West had refused to help them.

Now in this day and age when one man wastes more than another needs to survive, is that right? No. So why cant Iran create its own energy? Isnt it their right?

There were also reports, on state TV, that Iran was starting to use new advanced centrifuges at a uranium enrichment site in Natanz. The centrifuges are made of carbon fibre, are domestically produced, and greatly speed up uranium enrichment activities, Iran said.

Interesting word here and its not centrifuges, uranium or enrichment, those are words that draw attention imho for the wrong reasons.
The words i was referring to was Carbon Fibre Can you think of any ATS threads recently where the topic was the significance of carbon fibre or something closely connected to it?

The news came as Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran of destabilising the world and called for its aggression to be halted. Mr Netanyahu referred to a series of bomb attacks this week in India, Georgia and Thailand, which Israel has blamed on Iran.

If the above quote was correct, i am staggered as to why Iran would be making it common knowledge that they are creating nuclear energy yet deny terrorist attacks? Come on use your heads.

Please remember Iran holds God very highly,as do most middle eastern countries, and read what they themselves state in the quote above.

Now listen i am a nobody, i am not qualified to the hilt nor have i letters before or after my name, but for some reason or another i see things from a totally different perspective than most here on ATS.

I hate to say this but I hope Iran gets their reactors going and I hope they burn up all that oil that the rest of the world wants so bad. I wish oil did not exist. I have known and worked with many moslems for many years and the are just like other peoples, they are no worse and in some ways better. They are diligent with their prayer life and I see Islam as a standard against world communism and the type of atheism that communism is.

You're still not making any sense or connection with the 'FREE ENERGY'. You are pointing back to few words and quoting them. Please get to the point exactly what do you think Iran has come up with (if anything new) with respect to Nuclear Fuel or any form of Free Energy source.

The rest of it as we all know is a standard practice by any country to use their media outlets to convey exactly what their respective politicians want the masses and the world to see.

No Iran does not want free clean energy or they wouldn't care about nuclear ambitions! Nuclear is neither clean nor free ..They may only emit clean steam but the nuclear waste is a huge issue and it's one that doesn't go away.. right now we tend to just bury the waste underground but that's not going to be an option forever.. Besides, when a disaster happens it's a huge environmental deal that tends to more than make up for it's clean reputation IMHO.

Iran may also be religious but that doesn't make it peaceful or with good intent .. ahmadinejad is a charming politician who is a great speaker, but he's not in control of Iran.. while ahmadinejad is speaking of peace, the ayatollah is spewing dangerous rhetoric.. recently mentioning that if provoked they would turn Israel to dust and attack all 40 of our bases in the region.. now how would they do that without a nuke? .. Nuclear energy for peaceful civilian purposes? right..

This is a country that aims to be a nuclear power.. and I don't think there should even be ONE nuclear power on this planet. but there already is and we can't put the cat back in the bag.. the last thing we need is for Iran to have them too ..

Let us also not forget that Iran has a history of exaggeration... heavy exaggeration.. so take their announcement with a grain of salt.. but just don't take an eye off them.

i got to say this is the first time i heard someone talking about iran being a peaceful loving place haha. i mean, don't get me wrong i so wish you were right, but iran is not the nicest of places. actually, just a few days ago iran was blocking sites like twitter, facebook and others to stop people from protesting and having any kind of free thinking. though, if that was all they did i really wouldn't have a problem with them.

however, they armed KIDS 12-16 years old and told them to attack protesters in tehran. i mean how sick can you be to recruit kids into your military to do your dirty work, not to mention people are less likely to fight back a 12 year old. though, when he points a gun at you ready to shoot, you can imagine instinct will take over.

iran has been calling for the executions of the heads of the protests of the governments, not to mention most protests end with the riot police firing INTO the crowds killing a few people and injuring many more. it is by no means a good place, and i am sure iran could care less about free energy. they more than likely want to domestic energy to have even more control over their populace as they try to force people to love and praise iran for what a great country it is. sounds kind of familiar doesn't it, like i don't know, say north korea.

i really do hope your theory is right, but how things are being run down there iran is just another power hungry government that tries to control the masses with fear. if you dig a little you can find some horrific images and videos of the stuff that happens there.

So... Iran (who sells oil, uses the money to buy food, I assume) is gonna come out and tell the world about free energy, now obviously it will render oil useless after about 5 years from the announcement...

What they have effectively produced is energy. Energy domestically created. Nuclear maybe but unclear definitely i have an inkling that they have produced energy that will cost next to nothing to create that may actually be totally free and clean and that is why they are stopping oil exports. Someone creating free clean energy in todays world is effectively destroying the world of those that has profited from energy, oil, fuels, banks etc etc. Free clean energy will change the world for the better and destroy the world of those profiting at anothers expense.

Fuel & Energy will be free and clean for both businesses and all homes......GLOBALLY
Money saved is money earned what you save on energy and food is extra money, extra money to earn and pay=shorter working week therefore a more work/family balanced lifestyle.

Imagine everyone only having to work 20hrs per week because businesses are profiting from the non existent energy bills? Job share schemes, family balance etc ......lists are endless and only positive.

The only negatives to free clean energy technology are towards those that are set to lose. The very same people propelling us all into wars, who have us crippled by energy prices etc.

So PLEASE, Just wait and hear what Iran has to say. Just wait, waiting harmed no-one.

However back on topic, if your ownly top industry is say for instance oil or metal then your only way of profit is through wars and buildings. Buildings are built to last, its as simple as that, buildings when you buy them dont come with a sign saying "house will expire in 10 years", they are built to last. Wars however destroy buildings and infrastructure, which leads to the demand of building materials. I am not just talking bricks and mortar, i am talking about everything. Plastic facias for switches to the tonnes and tonnes of copper wire for instance used in wiring. That would boost economies. Those who are rich through profiting through the copper industry.

I found this most interesting S&F thread through your link in my own thread. I fully agree with your initial premiss that above all we should wait and not rush to judgment. Perhaps this whole kerfuffel is a war of words and meant as a distraction to keep us from focusing on other things TPTB wish to hide, but who knows? Copper and lithium are two elements I must research further, so thanks for bringing that up too.

This would explain why TPTB are so keen on getting our permission to carpet bomb Iran back into the stone age...

Yes, I know the oil reasons as well, but as some one said before, Venezuela is in the same hemisphere as the USA if grabbing oil was the only goal.....though I do concede that a war with Venezuela would be much harder to sell to people here in the states. Perhaps Venezuela is not target number one because when the time finally does run out on these resources TPTB are confident on a quick recovery (resource rape) there, being just a few hours away from our might and all.

Jazz, you're right. Not to mention how nice it would be to not have electrical wires, coast to coast (worldwide), trashing up the place. It makes me wonder if I'm the only one in the world to learn about the Anaconda story, but reading about it was enough to make me want to :both cry and barf. Copper is a mystery still in the role it plays in the body. A member of my family died from anemia which was a surprise to us, and I wonder if known exposure to large amounts of copper might have been the factor.

First post on ats, this is a topic that deeply interests me. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion, but check your own information and motivation. Have you ever been to Iran? Ever talked to an Iranian? If not, then understand everything you know about the country is through the words of people that were likely PAID to tell you what you now think you know about it.

It is easy to get sucked into MSM hype, for example a recent RT article goes WAY out on a limb of conjecture citing a satelite picture of a bull dozer, suggesting that they may be cleaning up radio active waste, and if they were doing that then they could have been testing a bomb trigger device, and if they were doing that then they are definitely making a bomb... but WAIT, maybe they were just moving some dirt!

Iran blocked social media internet - this is because they are paying more attention than we (westerners) are. Google is leading the way, but most of the others too are blasting their privacy policies out of the water and opening them up for spy campaigns either for advertising or government survelience, not the best reference but it is mentioned HERE

iran suppresses protesters - I am not well informed on how they are handling their protesters, but I know how we are handling ours! I also know that the louder Hilary gets while insulting their culture, the more patriotic they are becoming!

As far as the argument that oil is their income - this is self defeating... entertain the notion for a second that they do have free energy. they stop selling oil, and give the world this technology at a price that every nation can afford.... It is still the ENTIRE world that they are selling to, and on top of that, they won't NEED the money because of how drastically it will alter the world economy.
