the real crime here is that the boy has his pants rolled up above his ankles...what a shame. nice apocalyptic implications though. very creepy

Just a few more thoughts.

The plane is colourless and nondescript and can be categorised with the cut-out people.
A cut-out is a false culprit/layer of explanation put forward to conceal deeper layers of truth.
The viewer's attention is drawn toward the more dominant boy with the plane.
The plane looks to be no threat to the buildings which in fact are
being dismantled by the girl (who I agree represents the Queen Elizabeth2
and England, as pointed out by a previous poster. - Also the girls hair could be a 'q'
and I am sure I can make out E 2 from the shines on her hair - QE2)

Previously I said that the girl appeared egyptian/sphinx-like, but looking again at
her left hand and fingers, her elongated face and anatomically incorrect left ear (too low),
I can't help but think Reptilian! As I mentioned before, arranging the pink and yellow
blocks (football colours), we get D-R-A-G with the O-N following - DRAGON.

A stretch here but if the girl is a 'y' and the box cutters an 'I'
we can get 'ARE WE READY-IN GOD;'.

America (the boy) has two left feet. Are they viewed as fools by the sly looking
girl (QE2) in general, and did they somehow f* up operations on 9/11 specifically?
(Maybe four people were killed when no-one was supposed to die, and (moving
along the floor) was building 7 supposed to come down at the same time as
twin towers?

It has been clearly covered that the artist did this post 9/11, and has many similar pieces.

Interesting picture. I was gonna say its a bit of a stretch, when I noticed the out of place boxcutter. If it has been drawn before 2001, it must have been a weird coincidence, if after, then somone has been peckish.

Yeah, but I'd have to remember where I was in the thread and it could have another 20 pages by the time I get to it. I like to read the whole thing from beginning to end, it is hard to remember where you left off in all the threads you read. This way I can just go to my last post in the thread and read from there. Hence, bookmarking.

Perhaps I missed it, however, could not the BOX CUTTER be utilized as simply a tool in order to cut out the intricate social patterns from paper?

I think the hand signal being used by the boy is the same as the traffic hand signal used to indicate a hazard

Yes I agree. This is, sadly, a real test for university level students. It shows you just how "dumbing down society" works.

Universities are money making concerns and are only interested in making lots of money. Failing students does not make money. Pass rates are important as advertising. I hope the exam setter knew this image for what it is. Otherwise I have to conclude that the dumbing down process works really well.

Our society is already collapsing. Sheeple don't want to know.

Actually guys it's a GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) exam which is a school exam for 15 and 16 year old kids. If you do well enough in these you can take A (advanced) Levels at 17 and 18 and if you do well enough in those you can then go to university.

This post details the creation date and links to the first publication of the original artwork. It is also confirmed by Ben Frost himself, that the art was created AFTER 9/11, here.

As a student of Sociology, all I have to say is the sociologist(s) that made this exam is(are) not as observant as the discipline requires you to be.

I just went on the WJEC site and went through the 2010 papers, this one is no longer there. However there is a summer 2010 paper which is "under review". Wonder if this was suddenly brought to the attention of the examining board and they have removed the paper?

Without knowing who drew this, and without access to the original we can't know if it was doctored in any way.

The children look somewhat simian in appearance in my opinion.

I think it's highly likely that someone has created this as a joke or maybe this is their style of art, and some idiot who created the exam has gone "oh look a boy and a girl playing with gender stereotypical toys - that'll do for my exam!"

There's plenty of artists out there who like to take traditional styles of drawing and create twisted art from them. For instance we once had to bind an adult comic book for another printing company, and that comic was drawn and written in the style of 1940s/1950s children's book, but had images of "daddy" raping and mutilating women. Very twisted, but people buy it. Thankfully we never had to see those again.

I know people have gotten upset at me for saying this, but here it goes again. It doesn't matter if it was written pre or post 9/11 to me. Either way it means nothing to me. I don't see how creating this serves any kind of purpose. Which would mean that it really has no connection to what happened that day. Its been ruled out that it happened after 9/11, so this guy purposefully added all these symbols in there. IF it did happen pre-9/11, what does that mean? This guy knew exactly what was going to happen, so he decides to vaguely represent it, in a picture that almost nobody would see???? So its good and all you guys can pick out all this stuff, which may be the purpose of this thread just to see how many symbols or whatever we can come up with. But we can do this for any picture. In any picture, with enough time you can start drawing references to things, even if it was unintended.

Well either the artist has been seriously looking into 9/11 and this drawing is a release of his feelings
or as has already been stated in the thread that he was commisioned to draw what he was told. Symbols and all

Just a couple of observations:

The light reflection could be the skeleton underneath(brings up nuclear war).

The hand of the boy is held palm down as in hail caesar and grip hitlers famous salutes.

The blocks still together can spell ' I drew a god'.

I know that I might be clutching at straws there but there is no doubting a war theme is present and now we know who the artist is can we find out anything about his politics,background,employer etc to shed any more light on an interesting find.

I find it odd that the boy with red white and blue is holding the plane while pointing his other hand down at the paper men, with no faces, box cutters pointing at them meaning they will kill fake people (presumably on one of the planes) and the pentagon behind the girl holding the two block towers, one that has ARMAGDN on it.

Funnily enough, It has been theorised, with compulsive evidence, that there were very few
if any real visctims on 9/11, most being computer generated entities with basis in reality.
