Tens of billions of dollars will be at stake when BP heads to a US court this month to determine how much it owes for the massiveGulf of Mexico oil spill and how much it can shift to subcontractors.

“There’s only one path for BP to take — blame it on as many other people as possible and make sure it’s not cast as gross negligence,” said Blaine LeCesne, a law professor at Loyola University in New Orleans who has been following the case closely.

Sorry to tell you this my friend, if the courts fall in their favor they win as tax payer dollars already has been wasted in their "so call mistake".

If the courts fall for the gulf and blames them, they still win, as the tax dollars that were used for the clean up will never be returned, this companies get plenty of US subsidies thanks to tax payer dollars to operate.

When it comes to the big oil mafia, our whore politicians and the private interest run the nation.

In Americas political arena, money talks and bull crap walks and that is what going happen.

And that my friend is the one trillion dollar question that nobody seems to be able to answer, even I sit idle watching how our nation has been taken over by corruption, laws passed to keep strangling our constitution and freedoms been taken from us the citizens.

You are right, I am not leader, just research enough to find the truth behind the Koolaid propaganda been fed to those more easily manipulated.

But I tell you what, I am waiting to see when that leader takes hold if it no bought up as usual by money interest.

As with the people in the gulf, you will not hear much of the tons of damaging issues coming out of it, because like I say in this days and times of economic trouble, money does wonders and that is what is been passed over by the handful in the gulf to keep the issue quiet.

We are not better than politicians whores, but is a big difference the politicians only takes million dollar briberies, we just settle for a couple of thosuand.

Any money they receive will be poured down the huge black hole that is our deficit; it won't go to those who were harmed; no human being will ever benefit from it....

The money (THE`S) has to pay wont equal the destruction done. they got that long money so they will figure a way thru the existing loopholes set for them. How will they deal with the Most Highest response to their pockets and PRana energies is to be determined in time. I still think its leaking there may be something down there to break up the oil better now as it leakes befor it reaches ocean surface so it looks as if closed..

I hope these folks are gonna be paid...

Like I said the affected will die with be gone with the wind as the spill will be also forgotten, because we are a nation of short time memories.

Specially when briberies are common way to settle things.

I also saw a documentary on a new type of fungus in the gulf infecting people that were exposed to the water right after the spill and the solvents
