shadow man?

Well since you all were so kind to me on my last pic I thought I'd throw this one out there for you.
this was taken in 2006, August I believe.
At that time, a developer had bought all this land and this 1800's Brewing company was scheduled to be torn down. It was quite a local battle between the history buffs and the developer and ultimately the old brewery was saved.
But we had to go check it out.....

I had both my 35MM camera and my digital canon, these are from the digital. I got a really neat shot of green mist with the 35mm but right now I have no way to scan and upload it, maybe soon I can.

It was such a cool creepy place, I could imagine the hub-bub in it's time. It was built into a steep hill which created a cool cave like effect. there were even Stalagmites and Stalactites on the bottom floor. The old fireplaces, pieces of blob top bottles, the architecture of the place was just phenomenal. It was built by a german immigrant and called the Morrow Brewing Company, in Morrow Ohio. I felt like I was being watched the whole time we were there. and I was constantly 'talking' to the potential spirits about how beautiful it was and the struggle underway and how people like us thought it should be saved.

I see a man. I don't want to comment on or acknowledge the 'orbs' because they are so controversial.

I see something that looks odd on the right side of the pic but it could be a tree or piece of architecture. I'm not sure. Thank you for posting this though. It is still a beautiful place.

Are we talking about the figure on the bottom-right hand side of the the 2nd pic?

Coz I'm not entirely sure that's a person...It could be a wooden post or summat.

However, if I'm wrong, then it's definitely creepy.

This is so weird. I lived not even two minutes from that place. I saw "shadow man" so I clicked it, and then I saw the building. and I have had knowledge of a Shadow man following me around even a psychic told me what I have seen is true. I would pass this building everyday for my four years of highschool in morrow ohio. I have been in that building. I had to get my password from ats because I never log on but when I saw this I was like WHATTT. I dont know how to use ATS very well but please reply why did you lable this "shadow man" did you go to little miami? I lived in the neighborhood called "todds fork" its right up the hill from this building! Awesome post thank you

If this is indeed the same location that you know of, perhaps edit the actual city name out of your post, the OP might not be too keen on people knowing where he/she is from...

If they OP has no problem with this, then disregard my suggestion

As to the photo, very interesting indeed, many plausible explanations, but I take the photographer at their word since they are the only witness we have...

no way, such a small world !
I did not go to Little miami but my husband did, he graduated in 1981.
I used to live 2 houses up the hill from devils hole, i rented that horse farm for about 2 years. the one across from the graveyard.
I labeled it shadow man because it looks like one to me. you have to use the scroll bar at the bottom of the pic, it appears to be a man with a dark hat. The hat made me think shadow man, seems like that's a classic trait of theirs.

Naw, the OP is cool with the city name.
Now real people names is another thing....
I just thought somebody might have some history on the building, I've researched the heck out of it but there isn't much to be found.

wow, awesome story ! I've never seen one. Other than feeling like I was being watched, I had no reason to take this offshoot pic away from the building. but I did not see it at the time, still not sure what it is.

I only lived there for my four years of highschool and I loved that little town.
When I first saw shadow man It instantly made me want to see this post because the only time I've ever seen a "spirit" or whatever it could be, it was as a shadow like a sillohette of a person. And while living there I would have this reacurring dream. Where I lived, within walking distance of this place, I know it had a lot of history because the hills behind the creek were this building is, were shot at during like WW2 for practice or something, and they said there was so much like mercury in the ground they had to get it all out so for a year they had a big tent and plenty of workers destroying these hills and cutting down all the trees just digging in my backyard? I would go down to the creek and find rusted bullets. sorry I'm just rambling on I just think this is so cool

my husband lived maybe a mile from there and said they used to drop things like paintballs on their house and in their yard all the time. They would call the air force and the air force/government would deny everything. Shoot, maybe that's why my husband died so young...

Yes, My neighborhood is right across the street from your old horse farm! I graduated in 2010 so I'm sure the neighborhood wasn't across the street in 1981. this is to weird

this is too wierd. so you live/lived in the 'new ' subdivision? So you know it used to be a small private pool and ski resort? when it burned down it became a 4 wheelers playground, full of super cool trails. Rode my horses many miles over there.
Glad the dump didn't win that property, that would have been devastating.

I'm not sure what resort place you are talking about. But right after you pass the old graveyard on the left my neighborhood would be on the left right after it. The neighborhoods called "Todd's Fork Dr." and it follows the creek that goes into the Little Miami river. Its litterly right across the street from your horse farm and I would always go down to that waterfall to hangout with friends. My house was right on the creek, and I was told the creek and everything behind it was either a park, or government owned. For a good year probably in 2008-2009? during the summer they took out a large amount of a hill right behind my backyard, like I said they put in a tent the biggest I have ever seen, and they had so many machines and it was so loud I hardly ever wanted to go outside anymore. They told me it was because of mercury I don't know if that's legit or not considering I was told by my father but yeah they demolished so many trees I was so sad. They put up a lot of signs on the trees that said the ground was not stable, and stuff.

But while living there for me, it was very spiritual. I would go outside an chill in the woods it is really beautiful there, back there by the creek is the first time and really my only time I have actually meditated. One night, I was up real late and I was sobbing over some issues I was having, and all the sudden I look up to were my bathroom was, (I keep the bathroom light on) and there was a sillohette of a person just standing there right infront of the bathroom door. My radio turned itself on and I look back up and it was gone within a second. I was scared an litterly ran to sleep on my parents floor. At this time I woulda been probably 17 or 18. Weird thing is, I went to a physic a couple months later, and she told me you have a spirit guide, his name is Oliver and he said "Bathroom" and he said you would know what that meant. I connected the dots and now I'm left wondering if it was real or not.

Also, I had this reacurring dream, imagine an ancient tomb kinda thing with holes and door ways posted all throughout the hills of my backyard close to this building. There would be people and they would run and jump into these holes living underground. it was the weirdest dream but I would always find myself in the woods and running into a shadow person I can't remember all of the dream but if I do I will get back with you. The presents I got when I was in my room and in my dreams were never evil almost like, no feeling at all, like I couldn't tell if they were good or bad.

This is awesome that I could tell you this because I don't really talk to most people about it. I have never really seen spirits of any type but this would be my only story I could tell from my personal experience. Weird stuff. I'm sorry to hear about your husband maybe you should keep looking into this place it definitively has something different about it. Thank you

I had no idea there was a resort there like that. I would always use those trails to get around back there but I didn't know it use to be a ski resort! thats awesome. I don't live there anymore I lived there from 2007-2010 probably. and yes, I was born in 1991 lol

Horseplay...I never post in threads like this....have too many feelings I still keep to myself from personal experiences.

That said, I *had* to reply to your post with the small photo in it. It is eliciting some really strong feelings from me. Really deep, strong, feelings. I don't know what else to say...other than I *feel* a story connected with your photo.
