Massive Comcast Cable Outages IL and IN

I just talked to a Comcast cable internet representative. He says there are massive outages in Indiana and the whole state of Illinois is out. I usually just see it as normal outages but 2 nights ago SBC DSL had massive outages. I hope these are normal problems and not terrorist trying to take down large ISP's. So whats going on? Has anyone else heard anything?

Nah not terrorists, core routing equipment just flakes out once in awhile as every man made object does. I am assuming that was the issue and it took a while to fix cause they had to have parts shipped to them.
