It's not longer a surprised to me either , Its amusing to me, it reminds me of something greater than a three dimensional reality.

Indeed my friend! That is why this Thoth fellow interests me. Rumored to be an immortal being, the story of his becoming immortal is an interesting one. But we are all immortal beings, we just do not know this as such. We only see our three dimension bodies, and think this is it, yet the 'soul' or 'spirit' is that of a higher dimension, our bodies are kind of like a 'plugin' for a 'higher self' to control and experience what they need to experience, and learn the lessons.

I hope to one day access my Akashic record, (Halls of amenti as it is called in the emerald tablets), Which contains all knowledge I know, the true I. The key is to remember. We do not remember. That is why we no longer seem immortal. The lifespan of an atlantean is rumored to be in the 900year range (ancient texts), so we are missing something. ENERGY. The female energies are very low(but increasing) in a male energy dominated planet, there is a a reason for this. And immortality is percieved to those who bring their past life memories with them into the next life. I believe it is all coming to a head soon, and we will finally know the truth. Carefully hidden from us for reasons beyond our knowing, or perhaps it is our personal journey to find this information. We had access to more energies in ancient atlantis/lemuria, therefore a longer lifespan. I can't even comprehend.

The conciousness, higher self, inner self, inner god, what have you (all the same thing), continues to go on without our physical bodies, I believe it has something to do with the merkabah, being able to contain your energies and memories into the next life.

Just finished the space born text, and it is definitely talking about astral projection. Thoth seems to write about how he broke the normal bonds of the children of men and could travel the stars.

Even gives an accurate description on how to split soul from body, or astral project.
The bit I liked though was Thoths confirmation of other races. And how some seemed full of light and others of darkness, I took that as being both good and evil races. What do you make of it?

I really liked that bit as well. I don't know if it's about good and evil races; both exist, I believe, throughout the cosmos, but as the material itself points out, light and darkness are just a matter of degree.

Yea, I suppose as the text from tablet 2 states, that the soul is on an eternal journey always growing and heading towards the light. It's like you said, a matter of degree.

From the above text though it seems that there's some sort of continual reincarnation, atleast up until a period. I'm sure in the same tablet it says there's a pinnacle existence where the soul resides.

Yes Thoth - The god of the pantheon of ancient egyptian gods - As the One Creator created he Thoth was there to record everthing, meaning everything and anylsed it thus creating Science - It wa only later this sciemce and so much was corrupted, by those of religous ways, some turning into rituals, some magic - Retaining the knowledge but not the understanding, for magic is a trick or a panomime, a pale version of the truth to hold power over the masses.
What I personally like about Thoths writings is the repeated word goodness of the Creation and higher realms of soul.
Thoth wrote, the power of the words would be lost in translation and diminish in power and non shall believe the great philosophy passed down through the ages.
Personally I think it is one of the greatest pieces of writing and quite mind blowing
A great Philosohphy as in Toa I believe.

In our ancient past, our ancestors had always believed that the stories of an ancient past were 'myths', bedtime tales to soothe or to scare little children. But the real children had been those adults.

Ancient books were burnt and many whom held the secrets of ancients were either silenced or murdered for their knowledge. Reason being either it went against religious teachings of those days, our ancestors were truly dumb to comprehend modern science, or just plain frightened of the 'powers' that those books/records hold.

Many of those welders of knowledge were labelled as witches, wizards, shamans, occultists, etc and were destroyed right up to recent 18th Century. Scientific knowledge was much lost by the 17th Century. Those whom remained after that era were only charlattens or scam artistes out for a fast buck from the gullible.

After the 17th Century, it seemed mankind had to undergo a general mental change, a case of 'unlearning inorder to learn', with getting the basics of civilisation right first.

For example, imagine if teleportation was taught right now. Many would dream noble dreams of its use, but we know today of the kind of harm such knowledge can do to mankind, such as atomic power knowledge that had caused to our world. Criminals, hate groups, selfish cartels will only use such knowledge for their own benefits and mankind will only see themselves subjugated further.

Thus, it may be providence that we had not found such knowledge and more yet, for we HAD NOT evolve on a higher plane of existance, and will only do more harm than good to mankind.

Thoth was not only a wise man, but he was a scientific genius too. He MAY had left his records behind for future generations, and much of those records will NOT be in riddles, or feel good qoutes or civilisational laws, but DETAILED TECHNOLOGY SPECIFICATIONS for the scientific advancement of civilisation when undeciphered to our modern language.

Anything else would be fake. He was a scientist, not a pyschologist.

Had his records been found and kept hidden by some whom fear such knowledge in the wrong hands, or is it still hidden, worse - had it been destroyed? Perhaps when we find Atlantis, of which he was thought to had taught there or left records of his work, we may discover at least some records left behind as bound to be, for that famous city is not just a trading nation, but an advance civilisation where education and its materials would be left behind when it sank into the depths of the ocean.

To be honest, both you and seeker raise good questions. I found this very interesting on my first pass through, but, it's true it does come across as very fortune-cookie-ish. Might be a dead end here..

You don't 'translate' Atlantean.

It explains in the Tablets that reading the Atlantean symbols awakens attuned thought waves in the brain that connects your mind to the words and through that, the reader can understand what the symbols mean.

"Upon them are engraved characters in the ancient Atlantean language: characters which respond to attuned thought waves, releasing the associated mental vibration in the mind of the reader."

The only true way to understand the meaning of the Tablets is to read them yourself and get the connection.

The 'translation' here is just one person's experience with connecting with the Tablets, the experience will differ from person to person.

It's a shame that the location of the Tablets, if they exist at all, remains unknown.

What i got out of the emerald tablets besides the journey of the inner was the prophecy of the outer, the self proclaimed gods will come and make Earth a false 4D reality, 5D will exist on to those still on 3D via 4D which is tv etc children of light will become the 5D beings while those on 3D who by the time this process is complete will have the mark of the beast or microchip whatever you would like to call it worship the false gods in the 4D, never fulfilling their potential "Know ye are Gods but ye shall die as men".

Just to clear up a very common misconception, for the benefit of those who may be interested in the authentic ancient text, Emerald Tablet or Tabula smaragdina (which is very short - but no less valuable - and exists in several translations): the legendary Emerald Tablet, quoted by many medieval and Renaissance writers, is NOT this text discussed here, called "The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean".

This 20th century text, presented as a "translation" (which is probably the main cause of the confusion), is in fact the mind child of a "Dr. Maurice Doreal", whose real name was Claude Doggins (and who predicted Armageddon in 1951, BTW).

I thought I'd add this clarification because I keep seeing people make this mistake.

i was wandering... if the emerald tablets are of alchemical transmutation, then why do some appear to have broken corners. seeing as how they are indestructable (of "fixed" atomcally). does any body have any useful info that i may have over looked?
