Warned for speaking out.

I was recently warned, for speaking out against the subliminal mind control this site uses.
We cannot have our own beliefs, and we must follow the crowd here, or we are warned.
This site's moto is deny ignorance, but how can that be, when you are leading everyone to believe they can openly express themselfs, however you herd them into following popular belief, like sheep?

May I also say, that I did indeed use foul language, and apologize for such.
However, I felt Jarhead was absolutely right, and pointed out 2-3 times what the clear answer was for the pictures under discussion, so that was my opinion, and will remain so.

Why not state your point of discussion without violating the posted rules of the site?

If you break the rules of this site, you WILL be warned. However, if you are just expressing your opinion, that's fine, but just post that it's just ur opinion for the first few times that you do it. The mods will, over time, learn that you're not trying to insult anyone.

This is probably one of the most "fair and balanced" sites Ive encountered yet...no sarcasm intended...

I have frequented many bulletin boards. They all have rules that must be followed. You obviously agreed to these rules when registering......do you not think you will be warned when you break the rules you agreed to?
This site is the most lenient I have ever visited in allowing your opinion to voiced! Therefore, we know that you either personally attacked another, made fun of or belittled a fellow poster/member, used inappropriate language, or posted an inappropriate picture....all of which you agreed not to do when registering.

EDITED to add that NO other bulletin board I have ever been to, would even allow such a post as this one to exist, condemning their own site, nor anything written against them....this site is very lenient....Personally.....I find bad mouthing the site to be in poor taste itself particularly when you clearly violated the rules & regulations of the site

Secondly, what is this guy talking about? He doesn't have a "warn" by his name. This guy has been a member for almost 2 yrs now and is just now complaining about the rules?!?

Is it possible that "AnonymousID" is not the account they were warned under? Could they be using multiple accounts here on ATS? Would that not be a violation also?

And I agree with what mpeake said, this doesn't belong in the Aliens& UFOs forum. Could someone please move this to Board Questions & Business, a much more appropriate forum for this question..

I think a further explanation about "potty mouth," is warranted, namely to answer "why have these rules."

What some people here may not realize is that abovetopsecret.com can enter into those "netnanny," programs, hence keeping "ignorant," those who really need the data the most. Who needs to have this web site blocked by every netnanny program out there as well as necessary search engines?

Far from being censorship, and/or "mind control," this is to avoid those problems and to present ideas clearly without the excess baggage of useless expletives.

Try translating those things into darn, heck, golly and so forth. It is quite the laugh but never the laughingstock to do so.

Hey AI, I have been warned on occasion as well. But you know what? After reading the rules for this place, I found out that I was in the wrong.Im not going to sit here and moan about pt deduction or anything of the sort. In fact, It keeps people like me (and maybe you?) from becoming to much of an A55! The rules are pretty simple. Use common sence when posting. Be respectful. You can argue a point without resorting to flaming or being disruptive. We're not perfect, but the Mods here are trying there best to insur this is the best place on the net to come post your Ideas AND Opinions WITHOUT being harrassed for them. I guess what it all boils down to for you is, if you dont like it, find another board.

I think if you get a warn you should just take it like a grown up, learn your lesson and move on.
Just pointing out that perhaps the author of this thread who wasn't exactly the one that was warned, maybe in further violation of the RULES.

I have NEVER been warned for standing my ground. NEVER, And I am a very hard headed person.

Its the way you stand your ground. You must always show respect.
