Guy gets thrown out bar because of smoking, comes back with chainsaw

You and me both. I mean I see a guy with a bat/gun/knife I'm going to either brick my pants and run away or try to kill him but a dude with a chainsaw outside a bar? Wouldn't be expecting that one. I suppose I am now prepared for that eventuality and will make sure to run away quickly if I ever am so unlucky to encounter a similar situation.

Imagine calling 911 (or whatever those weirdos across the pond dial).

the guy tossing the keg had the right idea keep throwing metal things at him and im pretty sure those kegs can atleast block a chainsaw either way totaly unreal and i cant even imagine what it would be like being trashed and seeing that come in.... he might even have gotten element of suprise had it been holloween...

My cold wretched heart wishes to respond in kind when faced with such an aggressor. Hence if I were in that pub, I would take out my own chainsaw and show him what for.

But my logical mind says I wouldn't have my chainsaw with me. So I'd have to resort to my pocket bazooka.

all you need with a idiot using a chainsaw is something to snag the saw and after spending years using a chainsaw its amazing how delicate they can be depending on make / model and given its in hull i'd reckon its a low end of the power model (aka garden usage) so a wolly jumper thrown at it would probably cause it to seize up and then he can get the beating he deserves

What a muppet. Its kind of funny in a way though, its a pity we didn't have sound on that camera to listen to him revving the chainsaw like he was from one of those horror movies or something.

The people got their revenge on him in the end though, even after he had retreated they were determined to give him a bit of pain and get him arrested. In my opinion he deserved a bit of a beating plus a jail sentence.

US posters, a question for you. Some are saying that he would have been shot and possibly killed if this happened in the US. If this guy had been shot dead would he have deserved it?
Let me put the question another way, do you think that revving and threatening people with a chainsaw deserves a death sentence?

Anyway, what i take from this is that the people in the pub treat him like a div, so he went back and shown them he isnt a div - they then kicked the sht out of him after. So all round, their all assholes

You say if he pulled this # in the states than he would get what he deserved. I think not because surly he would probably have a gun instead of a chainsaw and definitely kill numerous people. with it. Just like columbine high school and other US incidents were the perpetrator can pull the trigger before anyone can react. Your relaxed gun laws course more deaths than they ever save so UK laws all the way sorry.
P.S this Video shows that the British are not fazed by a chainsaw wielding madman he gets his ass kicked in the parking lot. They show great bravery going against him with no GUNS lol.

I think this was kinda funny to see but it could've lead to some serious incidents.
I like how everyone started throwing chairs at him, some good ol' teamwork there.

I hope it doesn't start a craze. I haven't got a chainsaw. Would my garden strimmer do? I'd quite like to pull that from under my coat every time some non-smoker starts making sanctimonious comments even though you're obliging them by standing outside in the rain to have a smoke.

Or a cross-bow, perhaps. They're legal in England. Well skewering people with them like a shish-kebab isn't actually legal, but it might be fun under the above circumstances.

Seriously though, there are some rough pubs in England you see all sorts going on at these places. If you're ever in England and want to know if a pub is rough remember what the decor of that pub looks like. Its a tell tale sign.
