sounds like a good idea, i think what quicksilver said though was a good point, about will this lead to many spammers, guess time will only tell

i think as long as the ad's are left at notice boards in colleges, schools, perhaps work places depending on the size of the place you are fine, however, you dont want it to go to the stage where there is leaflets flying around, or left on buses etc, as it may look more like rubbish being left

It's technically illegal on the streets, public buildings e.t.c. but nothing to really worry about. People fly post e.t.c. all the time and don't often get in any trouble, just don't obviously do it right under the police's noses

Somehow, I'd like to see the local government go after someone in England, hehe....

As for the blackness, here's another way. Get the whole image onscreen. Do a Print Screen. Paste it into paint. Change the black to light grey. You can even just block in what you want to stay black. Then print it.

I'm not sure the ad says enough about what the site is about though... Most will assume it's for an online IQ test....

As for this being legal, I assume any copyright issues with using the image of Albert Einstein in the ad have been taken care of..?

If you don't like the ad SO posted then you could probably make up your own and post it up. Or just print out a simple flyer that has the site address on it and post it. Make it like an egnima, like the Obey Giant stickers you see in most major metropolition areas (if you're cool): www.obeygiant.com...

We'll eventually have a collection of these for you to use. Most likely black or white versions also. This is just the first.

What ads. I don't see anything to click on. Did I miss out again??
I can think of a few "fertile" places to plant an ATS ad

Man, if only these had been out in time for the RNC...

Joking.

Not really, but take it in the manner of a joke.

Right-click "Save Target As" works perfectly. I downloaded and opened the file with Adobe Acrobat Reader (or full Acrobat
).

Is everyone who is having problems sure they have the Acrobat Reader?

I printed off this ad from my school printer. About 50 copies. And I didn't have to waste any ink / money!

Now my school is covered in this Deny Ignorance ad. Just littered with them on the walls.

I've done my share.

Okay...When SO first posted this thread I couldn't see the ad...then after CatHearder and I posted our messages saying we couldn't see it, it suddenly appeared....and now I can't see it again....however....I can see Spectre's URL in this reply window and some reason it's not a link in the actual forum...

I dunno if that helps to explain the problem or not Zedd...but I've got Acrobat 6.0 and I saw the thing yesterday but havn't seen it since then, b/c I was going to print it off at work...

I'm sure we'll figure things out.

For now, simply hit quote on my previous post....copy the link and paste it in a new browser window. THAT should work.
