Haaretz Israel is reporting Rick Santorum accused Obama of actually helping Iran get nuke weapons !!!

He also said that Obama has somehow disclosed an Iran attack plan and thus has thrown Israel under the bus !!!

He cited Obama's opposition to the Keystone Pipeline project as furthering dependence on Middle-East oil.

He told CNN that Obama had actually fought the sanctions against Iran !!!

Strong campaign language by Rick.

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Thursday accused President Barack Obama of actively seeking ways to allow Iran to gain a nuclear weapon and suggested that the administration had betrayed Israel by publicly disclosing what may be a plan to attack the Muslim nation.

Santorum later told CNN that Obama's actions support the view that the president was choosing Iran over Israel. He accused Defense Secretary Leon Panetta of divulging sensitive information about Israel's plans to strike Iran and then invited scorn upon the Jewish state from the rest of the world.

Santorum told CNN: "The president fought tooth and nail against putting sanctions on Iran and only capitulated at the end. This is a president who is not standing by our allies, is trying to appease, trying to find a way to allow — clearly to allow Iran to get this nuclear weapon. He's doing absolutely nothing in a consequential way to make sure that they do not get this weapon."

"We're throwing Israel under the bus because we know we're going to be dependent upon OPEC," Santorum said during a speech in Oklahoma City. "We're going to say, 'Oh, Iran, we don't want you to get a nuclear weapon — wink, wink, nod, nod — go ahead, just give us your oil.' Folks, the president of the United States is selling the economic security of the United States down the river right now."

Santorum says American President 'throwing Israel under the bus' over U.S. dependency on oil

Santorum makes it sound like Obama is almost pro-Iran

Makes us wonder ?

Santorum is overly obsessed with Iran, the first thing he would do in office is start another multi-trillion dollar undeclared war against them.

That guy scares the hell out of me, and should scare every other logical American.

santorum makes me so ashamed of being from Pennsylvania. the extreme level of deceit, corruption and over all kindergarten level interaction between many candidates makes me want to throw up.

Obama's gonna spend trillions more anyways if he stays in office so might as well spend it on something worthwhile. Go Rick!!!

Right-wingers always bring up all sorts of unfounded, silly suspicions that they spread around with the sole objective of causing fear in order to tarnish the other side (democrats).

In the end though, these suspicions from them are always discovered to be pure laughable nonsense. And then they move onto another laughable silly claim. Which will get discovered to be nonsense and get laughed at again.

Superstitious nuts we have on the Right. We do not need any such superstitious deluded fools in the office of President...

Obama WILL win in 2012. There is no doubt about it. Because NOBODY in their right mind wants any of these idiots running against Obama in office.

I don't know whether Santorum is insane or bat-poop crazy!

While some things he's stated about Obama sound plausable, other things appear to negate it!

Santorum, because of his recent wins, is all puffed up. I think its funny how popular and what a strong contender he believes himself to be. It's going to be fun watching his inevitable fall from his "holier than thou" grace.

And, yes, he scares the tihs out of me too!

Santorum is using religion to get the nomination.

-Obama says chirstian insurance must cover contraceptions, church gets mad, despite same policies under bush or so i hear could be wrong on this
-catholics ready to go to "war"
-santorum comes from behind and wins the popular vote in a few religious states
-now he is using obama hatred to win over the christian zionists who want war with iran.

In 08 mccain had the religious vote but lost, now the stage is set for the religious to foolishly pick santorum over paul and santorum will lose horribly to obama.

Politics sux.

The biggest "scare" is:

People may vote against the one they dislike the most.

Many think there are no real choices anymore.

Whoever has the least amount of negatives will win.

Rick Santorum is nuts...and the more I read about him the more I think he should be in a mental institution. The guy has some incredibly disturbing views and consistently states blatant lies. Just a scary man....someone who should never EVER have any kind of power over any military force.

The world would be a far more dangerous place if he were ever POTUS. I can't believe he's leading polls....or winning primaries.

There is nothing to debate, I pretty much got my point across.

If you think spending trillions on ANYTHING is worthwhile then you need to examine your head. Trying to justify it is nothing short of insane.

We need to put a president in office who will CUT trillions.

But if the cause is so worthwhile, then you wouldn't have a problem sending yourself or your family for the cause, correct?

I agree. How do these guys get this far? Is it just pure determination?

When i think of a Rick Santorum Presidency...i think of the wasteland in "The Book of Eli". A great movie? Hell yes!! One of my favorites.

But i sure as hell don't want to live in a place like that...or die in it.

And it's not just his views on foreign policy....his stances on many social issues are EXTREME....VERY EXTREME. He scares me. I could flee the country....but would i be safe in another? yikes

He says exactly what he's thinking ... which is something that a POTUS isn't supposed to do. It's not good politics to let it all fling around like that. It can cause a whole lotta trouble. That being said ... at least everyone knows what's on his mind and how his thought process goes. It makes voting a whole lot easier!

I tried to envision what was on Obama's mind and got scared.
I'm drinking now and hiding under my desk, typing this and whispering, "warm safe place. . . warm safe place. . . warm safe place. . . "

How about spending trillions but cutting tens of trillions? And I would absolutely send myself to any cause that's worthwhile but since there are literally hundreds of worthwhile causes in the world that would spread me a bit thin.

I would be happy to draw the military a map of suitable targets to start bombing though if they want.
