What would YOU do if the Internet Shut Down?
I think the question is what any of us COULD do if the internet was turned off... and the answer is, not much.
The thing about the web is a lot like freedom itself; you have to have it to support and keep it. If you don't have access to the internet... or
better said, if there was no internet to gain access to, there would be nothing you could do to either save or retrieve it. Your window to the world
is not just shut... it is gone. Nothing but a solid wall where that window used to be.
Also, if it ever happens, we would likely lose cell phone/texting as well because one depends on the same basic mechanism as the other.
This is one reason I have often said that if there was a false flag CME, the blackout switch could be thrown on everything from the web, to cell
phones to basic electrical service. Once the eyes, ears and speaking voices of the world have been blinded, deafened and silenced... we would have no
means to meet to discuss world events, to coordinate response or to even discuss what might be behind it all.
Most people miss this point. They can't even conceive of the dark abyss we could be tossed into if the power elite ever decided to push the button
that took away all of these things. Very few can imagine how the power grid is so easily manipulated or the telephone lines... or the internet.
One well-coordinated event could convince the mass of the planet's population that either a natural or man-made disaster had taken all of this away...
and there would be no avenue left to us to use to question or challenge the outcome. We would be left in a darkness we have not known or understood
since the end of the 19th century.
EDIT: I hate being at the bottom of a thread page...
