Just saw this came out a short time ago. Didn't see it posted. Amazing little girl. I wish every child in these type of situtation could be so smart and lucky. I personally think we need to chemically castrate these sickos.

BREMEN, Ga. - Authorities say a 7-year-old girl recalled her stranger danger training and was able to get away from a parolee who tried to abduct her at a Walmart store in west Georgia. Police Chief Keith Pesnell says 25-year-old Thomas A. Woods of Austell, Ga., tried to take the girl Wednesday from a toy aisle while her mom was in a different aisle. Security video from the store shows a man carrying the girl away, releasing her after she struggled to get away. Pesnell says Woods faces a charge of attempted kidnapping and was out on parole after being convicted of voluntary manslaughter in a suburban Atlanta county.

So, is your child as able as that little girl. If not, get to work on it.

Oh this is such an amazing end to a story that could have been tragic. The man looks evil int he backseat of the police car. This video needs to go viral, every child can use the reminder of how to do something, anything they can if they are being abducted. Scream, shout, kick, bite, anything.

This is such a good story,

Good on that little girl, listen to her words kids - if someone tries to grab you or touch you, do anything you can to get away and find someone you trust.

It makes me so so so angry that there are so many sick bastards out there, who actually enjoy inflicting suffering on children - or anyone for that matter.

I have said it before on ATS, I have basically lost all faith in humanity,

I mean, we get "reduced abuse" with the current society structure, with punishments (not harsh enough for violent offences) to deter people from committing these crimes,

But as soon as you take away that structure, and the threat of punishment - even "good" men do evil things, its in most of us and most rears its ugly head in the chaos of warfare.

Ugly mankind, sadly - but beautiful women.

Yes little girl ! glad someone taught her what to do in such situations! Weather it was the parents or the school!

Never to late to talk to your own kids about things like this , if it ever did happen !

Great story ! Take that kidnapper!

I wonder what the guy was planning on doing , just walking out with a girl , beind held up , and mouth shut and nobody else would notice?

lol what kinda game plan did he have.

25 years old ! and going after kids !

pedo's come in all shapes and sizes

The news stuck up for the mom. They said she was looking at strawberry's while her kids was close looking at toys. All wallmarts are the same, toys are on the other end of store. Her mom should have been by her.

Awesome kid, hope this is a wake up to parents to keep your children next to you at all times.

I wonder if he went there with intentions to kidnap, or just seen the girl by herself and tried taking advantage?

Sorry, but I dont leave my children alone for any amount of time.

This proves why.

All it takes is a few seconds.

What to do with the guy?

I know what I would do to him...............

Train your kids!

Belonged to a Shotokan dojo in Michigan where they had kids classes.

For sure, pedo would pick an easier target than one of my kids.

Katie picked it up very quickly. She was walking in the hallway at school and had her nose in a book or something and when she looked up there was some guy, just messing with her but had his hand up in her face. She put a move on him, almost broke his arm off.

Smaller, weaker can easily defeat bigger stronger with superior knowledge, pointy little fists and elbows, attacking the right spots.

They did

He denied it, but I would think the CCTV footage should be enough evidence - he probably left DNA on the girl or vice versa, which would prove it further.

Scumbag going down - Enjoy those showers with the homie's won't you chap!!

Well done to that little girl, it could have been so different for her.
I've told my 12yo daughter to screem, bite, and anything else she can do to get away should it happen.
I've also brought her a small tin of hairsprey to put in her pocket so she can sprey the f$%&* in his eyes.
People like that need shooting, i don't care if it's your first offence, up against the the wall IMO.
Here in the uk, there too soft on this sort of dirty low down scum

What scares me is this. The Wal-Marts where I am have a private family bathroom with a lock on it in the back of the store, near the toys.... I wonder if he was going to take her to the bathroom and rape her or something...

I can't imagine what else some loser would be wanting to do, kidnapping a small child. It's heartbreaking.

But at the same time. This story makes me so happy. She did every thing right and now, this A-hole is off the streets.

Good for her. This is why it is important to teach your kids self defense, stranger danger and things like that.

You can rest assured this guy will get his, in jail. Even murderers in prison consider pedophiles the lowest of the low.

I am really proud of this girl! She did everything right.

It scares me just how blatant the guy was. I mean, broad daylight, in a busy store....This is the kind of thing that makes me really think twice about trusting anyone, anymore.

Maybe an ID required to use those "family' bathrooms should be required.

Yeah,I know.......

But it would prevent someone from actually doing what you said could be done.

Or Ive seen the fitting room thing done, where you have to ask for a key, from a worker. Maybe something like that.

My thoughts exactly. If the girl had been kidnapped, can you imagine the guilt the mother would have had?

I'm glad this girl got away, because it quite easily could have ended the other way.

Id actually support that. I mean, something where they have to at least check in with an employee. They have to be seen by some one first.

For those family bathrooms anyway.

I agree. Her mom should have been with her. I see that all the time though. Little kids running around by themselves, through a store. I guess people think it wont happen to their kid...But things happen!

If ever there were a reason to not leave your kid to roam around the store, unattended...This is it.

Please people, watch your kids.

And in the event that your kid wanders off or what have you...Make sure they know how to defend themselves. Teach them about stranger danger. Teach them to fight, scream, kick, hit, bite...Anything they can do.
