When Palestinian suicide bomber, blow up himself and few Israelis they called terrorists but when Israelis killing Palestinians for the last 40+ years they been called self defend.

When hijackers killed insistent civilians in NY they were labeled terrorists but when Chechens kidnapped some Russian kids they were called freedom fighters (according to CNN and few others US networks.)

How about when USS Vincennes shut down a Iranian passenger plain killing 290 innocent people, is that terrorism?

We gave Captain Rogers a medal for killing three hundred Iranians. Imagine how many medals we might have had to give the poor guy to console him for his excellent stewardship of an even "more" spectacular "accident."

It depends on whos history book your reading

They say "One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter". My personal view on terrorist are anyone that targets or shows no disregard for killing innocent people who just seem to be caught in the crossfire.

This view of who is "innocent" gets very skewed by terrorists because they tend to believe that no one is innocent. These people have no disregard for peoples lives. That is a terrorist.

The Isrealis were targetting civilians who were attacking them, thus they were no longer civilians but combatants. Unlike terrorists, the soldiers warn them to cease their activities before they attack. Also, the soldiers are clearly identified as representatives of the government, they are not such wolf among sheep.

They were using innocents to further a political agenda. By definition, they were terrorists. Any such agencies calling them otherwise, should have their FCC licenses revoked.

For it to be terrorism, it would have to be DELIBERATE, and to further a political agenda. Neither applies here, thus not terrorism.

Minus the uniforms, we are terrorizing Iraq. We are targeting civilians everytime we perform air strikes on city centers. These are slums, the death is indescriminate and we are having the war lead by the political arm of our government, as protested by US commanders on the ground.
Once we atone for our moral duplicity, we can go back to the war on a word, the WAR ON TERROR.

What a load of bunk that is!!! So, you're basically saying that we are "targeting" civilians with the intent to kill innocent people!?!?!? Ok so you are saying US navy shooting down a passenger airplane is not a terrorist act??? Why because it was done by US? What happen if your passenger airplane get blown up in the air by let say Iraqis would that be a terrorists act?
