One World Government

We've all read articles and posts about the New World Order and One World Government, but is it a good thing? Ive heard some people say it would be a good idea, and also people saying otherwise.
It is claimed by some that many governments, (US, UK), are under the influence or control of the Illuminati, and other elite groups and families. (Bilderbergers, CFR, Rockefellers) If these groups of people dictate to the government how to run their country, then a One World Government would also be controlled and manipulated, therefore giving total global control to a group of people who were never chosen to rule. (Not by the majority anyway.)
So i believe that more smaller governments would be better for everyone than One World Government.

Well, the only real reason for a one world government would be if we lived in a universe where other planets had life, then a one world government would be a logcially idea so we can interact with these races. But at the moment, there is no sign or evidence of life so there is no need for a one world government. Of course a one world government is the next logically step for our race.

I doubt we'd leap from independent countries to a one world Government, but i guess you didn't mean it in that way

Stages of Global Unity:
- Independent Nations
- Several Collections of United Alliances
- More Intergrated Collection of United Alliances
- Merging of Alliances
- Finally Merging of Last Alliances

... or something along those lines

the risk we run when we create huge superpowered multi-nationational alliances is that rivally between the multi-nationational alliances has the slim possibility of war

life cycle towards one world govt:

1) barbarians

2) families

3) tribes
(nomadic?)

4) villagers
(prob this is when farming comes more into being with farmers bartering with other villagers who specialise in skills like masonry, blacksmith, etc

5) Towns and onto cities

6)A nation
(probably arose once their were enough towns and villages and the political landscape allowed for such, republic, despotism (genghis khan had a nation even though the "horde" were nomadic, right?), monarchy and eventually democracy)

&)Superstate
Then you get superstates like USA (probably wrong on this one as they will probably merge with one or more other nations until they are truly a superstate for the purposes of bringing the world closer to one world govt), EU and maybe once day an Asian league similar to the EU

I think a one world governement '' now '' with our '' leaders'' with all the violence, control, fear and racism, religion...is total enslavement...
If there is a one world goverment right now, it's enslavement of all people by some rich familys who make us do anything.

Hmmmm, but what if different countries had different needs and wants from interacting with other world lifeforms?
I agree about the next logical step, but only if it wasn't corrupt.

i think most of the elite would only want advanced technology from other lifeforms and that would only be so they could control the masses easier and also so they can profit from it (and maybe even attack the lifeforms knowing how bloodthirsty they can can in killing their own spieces)

John Lennon was for peace in the world and people trusted him and beleived in him so that people started some kind of revolution....I've read that John had some threats from the CIA that he sould stop his revolution againts governement....that's why he stoped for a while...then he wrote another album for world peace and the CIA had to do someting so they used their MKUltra program of mind control to get a guy to kill him

I don't think a one world govt. will ever happen for humans. It would be like trying to establish a single govt. in Iraq for a number of different religions/cultures. Never going to happen and absolutely no need for it.

Besides, under a one world govt. the rich in control could not make their money off the working stiffs with wars, terrorist attacks etc. Much more profitable to keep the working masses in fear......nice, quiet well behaved economic slaves who willingly fork over a chunk off their paycheck every month to the powers at be. Doesn't get any sweeter than that. NWO is right here right now. Enjoy!

Life on earth is kinda like HELL...you have to get ur but up every dang dang day just to work, u come home in evening, eat, watch t.V where they always show you luxury, big boobs, beauty, money, fame and glory....then u go back to sleep and it's the same thing over and over...for WHAT?????Can you explain that to me??? You work to have a nice car, house, furniture, nice clothes.....just like you see on t.v...and actually you want a big screen T.v too

Yeah you know that, we should be spending our spare time with each other, learning about life and trying to better ourselves.

If we didnt come home from work and watch TV showing us all the things we can never afford, perhaps we would all be happier.
The key to life and happiness is knowing oneself, but our chances of acheiving this are getting slimmer in a society with its focus on materialism.

If any of you are SciFi buffs, then please notice that at least 99.9% of any Civilization ever depicted, is based on a One World Government (be it bad or good) --of course the"bad" and the "good" always has people that are working to overthrow it.
I guess as stated before it would all depend on what the One World Government would do to it's citizens.

I wonder if we would all decide to make a revolution againts society as it is...if everyone would Wake-up like we do...

People are too much into the ''MATRIX'' they just don't ask themselves those kind of questions. Newborns get a social code, a statut in society, it will go to school at 7, college, work, buy house, have children, retreat and die! Wow what a clever idea of a new life. Everybody will do that and their children will do the same.

Sorry, we have to work till we are 60, give our money to government, use gas for our car, buy stuff to multinationals that is IT baby!!!

Well of course, we would not make a huge jump from A to B, things will have to be done between those points, but a one world government is the next step...few things need to be done first and there needs to be a reason to create one

Im at university still, im 22, and form from what ive seen, mosat the people dont think at all like those on ATS, we need a way to make ATS couples so that we have ATS thinking children who will fight on in the next generation!

Join a kung fu class like i did, do tai chi if you think its too intense after a days work, go for a swim, curl up with a loved one on the sofa and read a book or whatever you like with them, hehe, visit ATS!

i dont get the bit about a 1 world govt not catering to different cultures and religions, im indian born in UK and all my african, Indian, pakistani, shri lankan mates have had no problem living in a western country with the british govt in charge, together with people lots of different faiths and cultures. It might have been hard, but people can adapt to anything, maybe the first 1 world govt peoples wont adapt to it easily, but what about the children born in a society where the one world govt is a fact of life? Will culltural and religious differences mattter then? What about a generation after that? After that? Once in place, eventually it will seem like its always been a part of life.

your right though, im under sooooooooo much pressure from my peers and family to conform and be a typical indian boy in uk, go into banking or take over the family businesses or whatever as long as its fulls of $$, marry the right gal who ideally theyd pick,. and go on with life raising children who'll also be picture perfect, i.e. live that same life. The reason the matrix does work is that even the most intelligent people dont think out of the bubble, they just trudge through life, while they effectively police each other making people who think differently, like us here, feel like outsiders so we conform.

We are indoctinated at a young age in terms of the values and thoughts that society want us to have, and this sits well with the NWO.

First step in the right direction would be to not watch TV, ignore advertising, take films as entertainment, and get any information you want from the internet.
The internet is the best weapon the people have against the New World Order.

Probably, in a few years, we'll see thing more clearly, It's like these days crucials with all that goes bad around the world...I don't wanna be bad, but I really HOPE something big will happen soon, not armageddon, but someting really important that will wake up humanity. Amelia, have you read "Nostradamus - The Final Prophecies" by Luciano Sampietro?
Maybe that something big is just around the corner!
