ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Britain Wajid Shamsul Hasan said that Pakistan would be left with no option but to support Iran if Israel attacks it. In an interview to a British newspaper The Sun published Wednesday, Hasan expressed his concerns over the United States’ “Drone Wars” that have taken the lives of hundreds of innocent civilians in Pakistan.

Im not surprised they will support Iran. Im kinda surprised to hear them say it though.

“We know the damage — destroyed schools, communities, hospitals. They are civilians — children, women, families. Our losses are enormous,” the newspaper quoted him as saying. “I think time is running out until the Pakistan government can take a stand. They will have to at some stage take punitive actions to stop them. They have got means to take such actions to defend their own frontier and territories,” Hasan further added.

Sounds like Obamas collateral mass murder on Pakistani's has taken its toll. Seems like they want to declare war on America. Im not surprised at all. Great work Obama.

Hasan urged British Prime Minister David Cameron to convince the US that the drone attacks were counter-productive, making the American “the most hated people in the minds of the people in Pakistan.”

2300 people murdered by drones since 2004. 175 children.

The drones have been targeting rescuers and funerals.

I cant see how Pakistan hasnt declared war on the United States.

You mean, great work Zbigniew Brzezinski.

After all, he did write about how to possibly deal with Pakistan, then on to China.

Oh yes, he is a foreign policy advisor to Obama. As he was to Carter...Iran revolution anyone?

Do you have a source that says the drones have been actively targeting rescuers and funerals or is this opinion?

Oh, and The Sun newspaper? I'm glad they picked a reputable paper to give an interview to

Are any of those links reputable?

Who do you consider reputable? CNN? The Huffington Post?

OK... so this is how WW! got started.... alliances.

Pakistan will back Iran if the US and Israel attack. Venezuala will back Iran if the US and Israel attack. Venezuala will back Argentina if Britian attacks Argentina. Probably, Britian will back the US in Iran so the US will back Britian against Argentina. Iran will back Syria if the US and Britian and NATO attack. Russia will back Syria and Iran if US and Israel and Britian and NATO attack.

So...in this corner ladies and gentlemen, we have Syria, Iran, Argentina, and Venezuala.... and over in this corner we have the US and Israel and Britian and a NATO coalition...especially since NATO will probably be fighting itself to some degree and split with some going to the one corner and some to the other.

And China... where will China be?

Its interesting watching it all unfurl. I wish it was a movie though.

I think China will come in as late as it can.

Pakistan wont do anything or theyll be at war with India. Pakistan and Iran also have poor relations and Pakistan has no interest in seeing Iran see the light of day.

Had a dream about that alliance 40 years ago but never understood it till later. Then just left it in there. Very interesting to hear this.

I hope I'm not overestimating Pakistan nor it's allies, but the U.S. has been dominating the area, but it has also been doing a pretty stupid thing.

For more than a decade the U.S. has been constantly raging wars across the world, or at the very least taking participation in small conflicts. Their reasons to do it are irrelevant to my point, since I'm not addressing political agendas, but strategy.

This might be a very sad sacrifice from Pakistan, but let's not forget that the U.S. has been using it's best technology inside Pakistan borders. People already forgot the mysterious helicopter that crashed in Pakistan, apparently.

If Pakistan is being aided by other powers (like they apparently are from China, for instance) then they are the prime scenario to watch the U.S. use it's tactics. But we haven't seen U.S. opponents use theirs, and they have been developing their own too.

The west has this stupid attitude of underestimating Middle East countries and former world powers like Russia, but when there is a need to do something, there is a way to do it. And the U.S. has been constantly showing it's cards, and the people that come here saying "the U.S. has weapons that nobody has even heard about" are as delusional as the people they dismiss as possible threats. If that was real thing, then the U.S. wouldn't be rushing a bomb development program to attack Iran, in case the need arises. They didn't even have bombs capable of crippling Iran's possible nuclear capabilities.

While the U.S. parades it's tools, these guys have been watching them at work, provably finding flaws and weakness in their systems. Or people think it's by chance that a U.S. drone went down in Iran?

Personally, if people would care to be more cautious on their views of the world instead of just chest-bumping, we could avoid a lot of nasty things.

He's only saying that because the US isn't giving Pakistan the $800 billion bribe it was promised. If they side with Iran, they will never see that money. It's a bluff.

That's a good scenario (in the way it would mean it's just bluff).

But the problem is basically around the possibility of China doing that bribe instead of the U.S.

From my understanding, the U.S. stopped giving out that much money with recent economic cuts. China can still afford to waste that money, and it would be a pretty incisive strike against U.S. .
