Help in VB.net... please..

having recently upgraded from vb6 to vb.net, i now have no idea how to open up a form other than the startup form, i used to use:
load frmxyz
frmxyz.show
but that doesn't exist anymore, and the vb6-vb.net translator included managed to mess up my existing code, if anyone can help please do.
