The Tuesday Triple election sweep

Although delegates will, in some cases, be assigned later, today's elections and caucuses in three states may cause status changes in the game of "who's ahead?"

Santorum's campaign is optomistic, and expects to pick up a number of delegates. It's quite possible that he could even come out in top on Missouri. Mitt Romney seems to be ahead in Colorado.

According to Public Policy Polling, a Democratic firm, Santorum is leading in Minnesota, 33 percent to 24 percent for Romney. Newt Gingrich is at 22 percent and Ron Paul is at 20 percent.

In Missouri, Santorum leads the beauty contest 45-32 percent over Romney with 19 percent for Paul. Gingrich did not qualify to be on the ballot in Missouri.

The same polling firm shows Santorum with a possible second place finish in Colorado, behind Romney 37 percent to 27 percent with Gingrich at 21 percent and Paul at 13 percent.

Speaking to Fox News, Gingrich, who has been fighting hard against frontrunner Romney is back in polls, and conceded that he will finish somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Gingrich, who's said he's not quitting yet, expects to end up "in the middle of the pack" on all three states.

im gonna say it cause no one else will. we dont care about these crooks, if ron paul is not winning whats the point of even mentioning it. nothing will change with any of the three.

Just got back from my caucus and I am a delegate for the county convention.

Ron Paul did very well, 80% of those of us who spoke were for him.

One dirty little secret is that Ron Paul supporters have volunteered to become the delegates in almost every state. This strategy will be pivotal if Ron Paul stays to the end. Having a majority of the delegate representatives as supporters of you raises the chances of a Ron Paul victory even if he does not win the state in a popularity contest. Congrats on becoming a delegate. Waiting for these other candidates to keep splitting the votes and delegates.

Agreed. Add to that the fact that Florida is possibly going to have to split its delegates instead of 'winner-take-all', this is going to end up being one helluva convention!

Unfortunately, we have seen how unorganized the GOP primaries/caucus' have been this election cycle. Even the Iowa GOP head resigned due to the shady vote counting.

ETA: Anyone notice how bad Santorum looks recently? Is he sick?

I know how that can be and I did not know she was in the hospital. I dislike Santorum's politics, but my heart goes out to that little girl and the family. I hope she pulls through just fine.
