Wow what a Thread.

My two sense....I don't give a crap. These two morons Jay z and nikki minge are two puppets for someone else.

All these black rappers (if that is what they are called) are all the same. They all walk the same, wear their pants half way down their legs, wear caps backward, wear clothes 10 sizes too big for their malnutritioned bodies, wear enough gold to buy the US mint.

As far as im concerned, everytime i look at Jay z i think of a big mac and fries please!!

That's kind of rude. Why hate on someone for being successful?

Jay Z is a really intelligent guy and successful entrepreneur. Rap is an art that goes beyond just rhyming words. Don't let a few idiots like "soulja boy" and "lil wayne" taint your view on the genre. Try listening to jay z, immortal technique, andre 3000, atmosphere, lupe fiasco, eyedea, illogic, eminem etc. The list goes on.

"Big mac and fries please" is a bold thing to say about a guy with a net worth of $450 million+.

Wow, this thread is out of control. I hope the mods do not shut it down.
Although it seems like it might be best judging from the senseless drivel I'm reading.
Please stay on topic. I mean, C'MON SON!

I heard the group "The Monkeys" used to be popular?
Milli Vanilli was on the Billboard charts?
Rap music is known to be notorious for having ghost writers?
Jay-Z has alleged ties to the so called Illuminati?
Nick Minaj's overwhelming popularity the past few years?(successful female rap artists are few and far between)

The only post within the last few pages that I thought was intelligent, was that they are from the same place.
Yes they are both from Brooklyn and I'm sure Nicki Minaj grew up listening to Jay Z's albums, thus influencing her style. This point is very valid.
But if you compare them as they are, the two artists sound nothing alike. I've never heard anyone compare them before, ever.

Like I said in my above post, valid point.
I would also like to ask...
Do you have any idea how many rappers grew up in New York? Are you implying they all sound alike?
Are you saying Run DMC sounds like Puff Daddy?
Are you saying Slick Rick sounds like Big Pun?

I'm having trouble getting past this point. Just questioning the logic...

Their dialects and where they grew up play a big part in their similarity.

Jay grew up in Brooklyn and Nicki grew up in Queens. Those two boroughs are next to each other so those dialects will be more similar to each other as opposed to maybe someone from Staten Island or Manhattan or something.

So yes, I can take any girl from either Queens or Brooklyn and deepen her voice and she will sound similar to a guy from either of those places.

Minaj jacked JayZ's flow... nuff said. If JayZ was Nicki he would have signed her to his label and not let Lil Wayne capitalize off her success.
