Let's see, the collective western world is just itching for the chance to get their war on, have been drumming up the "crazy dangerous iran" story in the media for months now, fabricating whatever excuses they can think of, just trying to get some basis on which to stage an invasion. Iran, of course, wouldn't stand a chance in such a scenario and they know it.

The similarity to the lead-up to the Iraq war is not a coincidence, of course.

Weapons are a deterrent. If I had a gun and wanted to deter you, you would either stop or be killed; either way, you were deterred.

This is true, but out of context in regards to the Iran issue. We are trying to tell Iran that if they get a gun to defend themselves, we will come with our guns and kill them. So in essence we are telling them they have no right to defend their own land.

TPTB are already trying to get to that point. I fight against that on the same “moral high ground” as I use against lunatics with nukes!! Too both groups, people like me say IT’S WRONG and we are HERE to STOP YOU!!

I just happen to be comfortable with them in the hands of people I trust. Would you trust yourself with a GUN or are you afraid you might shoot yourself?

I don't trust a government that has proven it will use their weapons to obliterate entire cities filled with innocent people just to get their point across. You can trust them if you want, but I politely decline to "play along".

I trust myself with a gun. I have a lot of experience with many different kinds of weapons and hit the sand pits every weekend if I can.

That being said, I also trust my ability to access situations without having a knee-jerk reaction to pull out my weapon and use it before I know it is necessary to use that kind of force.

More enemy combatants died at the hands of US troops than innocent people…BY FAR!! If you can prove otherwise then DO SHARE! I’ll wait….

Iran can be vilified and elevated to saint hood. The facts stand though. If there is a war, it will be like all wars have been since WW2. Posturing and positioning to maintain the stranglehold we had post WW2. It was in a state of decline from the moment it started its merry coarse.

Iran has Isreali blood on their Hands Iran has America blood on their hands then of course there was their little foiled assination plot.

No they aren't, at least in this case. Someone on a website purporting to speak for the Supreme Leader is making those threats.

This is sad. We doing Iraq 2.0 all over again. Remember those WMDs?

My guess is we'll end up doing to Iran what we did to Iraq and we'll find out that Iran's nuclear program was, in conjunction with Russia, a nuclear fuel and reactor sales program.
