There's a blockade? I may have missed it because of how it was worded.

Just curious but isn't a blockade an act of war? And if that's the case does that not give Iran every legal right to retalliate?

that is many act of war
its beyond a declaration of war
cannot be clearer then that

Weaken the victim before striking the final blow
this strategy have different step until the big sanctions hits
and isolate it in lies so no one will even consider to be friends with them

the Pentagone was made to make plan like this that required enormous intelligence investments
in short terms .. you buy everyone or you make it buy to everyone
both are applied

I thought that the missiles that could reach the United States where destroyed by a 'mysterious explosion' at one of the facilities?

Iran just don\t seem to get it, do they?

If you go around announcing in public that you are going to 'wipe Israel off the map', then spend several years trying to surreptitiously build nuclear weapons, all the while denying it, even though you've kicked out the Weapons Inspectors on several occasions etc.

Look what happened to Saddam Husein, The Taliban, Gaddaffi, etc, etc. They all tried to thumb their noses at the US and Israel, they all thought they were somehow immune from retaliation, and they all paid the ultimate price.

Amazing how some people never seem to learn the lessons of their peers...

The article focuses on the 20% enriched ...

But Iran has already stated that they can enrich 90 - 100% supposedly.
I wish I could find that news report, and link here on ATS, but aside from that, if they truly are interested in becoming a fuel rod seller/exporter to Russia, I'd imagine they would have the knowledge of ICBMs by now also. Russia, and other countries looking to either gain access to cheaper crude oil rates, nuclear material, or even just money in general would sell a form of this technology to Iran. I've no doubt of that.

If the West Blockades Iran, it's considered an act of war. If Iran blockades the Strait from the rest of the world, it's considered justifiable...

Somebody, pour me another one.
Make it a double

I do wonder how difficult it would be to dredge the Oman side of the strait to open it up so this problem doesn't keep happening.

I was looking for a geographic stratigraphy map of the strait, but haven't found one yet. The land rises quite quickly above sea level, which makes me wonder if the strait on Oman's side is rocky and not sandy.

Getting trade around or through this area is a serious pain in the behind. What irony grips this planet that some of the most recalcitrant paranoid schizophrenic religious nuts have to be right smack dab in the worst possible spot?

They are stockpiling what they have, which significantly cuts down the time to weeks it takes to ramp it up to 90% enriched.

Minor details.

Pure propaganda from the KINGS of propaganda and lies. Is there ANYTHING that Israel wont do in hopes of getting America to fight battles for them? They are COWARDS who need their Mommy-America and my TAX DOLLARS to survive.

I BET that they are trying like hell to plan an "event" on U.S. soil in hopes of making it look like Iran did it. Those bastards are war-loving scumbags who would do ANYTHING to get us to attack Iran.

F'N COWARDS.

www.wnd.com...
Just visited the extinctionprotocol 2012 website and found the above. Please read and seriously consider.

Looks as though the inevitable is on the table for within the WND it explains how an EMP - said previously to be a threat from Coronal Mass Explosions of he Sun etc. are part and parcel of the now oncoming WW3.

Read and see how serious it all sounds to you.

Wait...so now Iran is blockading the strait?

And no, if they do blockade it, it is not a blockade against the USA. An ally, perhaps, but not the USA.

Remind me again wtf the USA is doing there?

I haven't any idea of where to even begin to answer this question. It is an immensely involved and complicated issue that when cut right down to the core, involves the US' sovereignty as the world's leading super power.

politics, debt, show of power, resources, trade agreements, dominance, Vision 2020 guidelines... there is seemingly no end to how many layers this issue is involved in. It is not "just about the oil and nukes." Not by a long shot.

What are you?
Twelfth man out, last to know?
Every time somebody in the West so much as farts wrong Iran threatens to Blockade the Strait or other countries shipping of oil...

Iran warns oil blockade...
Iran says it will close Strait of Hormuz...
Iran Military Practicing Straits Of Hormuz Closure...

And no, if they do blockade it, it is not a blockade against the USA. An ally, perhaps, but not the USA.

I said "the world"

We have plenty of Allies around "The World" we are there making sure the flow of oil [which most likely a percantage of which ends up in YOUR gas tank] keeps flowing.

Sit down, You're part of the problem

As I have said before...wehave kids here in the U.S. going to MIT who can build a NUKE in their sleep...even some talented High School kids could do it with todays civilian computing power. The thing is the fuel and the devivery systems.

Even if Iran were to develop a Nuclear Weapon...it would be huge...they might fit it on a truck....and unless they bought the tech...they are no where near the level of placing a warhead on a missle.

The idea that an Iranian built missle could reach the U.S. and even if it could by some chance of fate....it would be blown out of the sky very easily. Split Infinity

This guy speaks the truth. Accurate estimation too.
Most people think our nukes work just by putting some radioactive material with explosives onto a rocket.
The science comes in not it making it detonate, but keeping it stable until delivery is made.

Thanks for the confirmation. If anyone wants to google this....about a year ago...the U.S. Navy using a converted standard Antiaircraft Missle....which had it's guidence system replaced and also had it's solid fuel replaced with a new more powerful and longer burning solid fuel that enabled it to blow up a Satelitte that was loosing altitude with a tank ful of Hydrazine....a very toxic fuel...so that this fuel would not fall to Earth.

The Missle was a modified SM-3 fired from an Ageis Class Cruiser....telescopes around the world confirmed the hit and the explosion of the Hydrazine. Now this is very difficult to do....hit a SAT orbiting the Earth at over 17,000 MPH.

Shooting down any Iranian ICBM or any other Iranian missle or aircraft with the current Fifth Fleet in the area which carries many converted SM-3's would be easy. The Iranian Airforce knows this and would have a hardtime convincingpilots to even fly missions against such weaponry. Split Infinity
