A US federal agent dies…the story breaks! But soon afterward, for some reason, the MSM stop following the story. For several weeks, very few people heard about it…

Where was the public outcry for justice when Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry bled to death at the hands of a drug cartel in cahoots with the U.S. government? It happened in the Peck Canyon corridor northwest of Nogales, Arizona -- nowhere. The general public didn't hear about it.

It's been one year and two months since agent Terry died. Within weeks of his demise, his shocking murder would illuminate a bizarre and murderous government plot to run guns, lots of guns -- over 2,000 guns -- into the hands of the Sinaloa drug cartel.

I’ve seen many threads about the CIA drug trafficking and US agencies involved in countless nefarious acts, so why has the “Fast and Furious” scandal gone unresolved? Where are all the conspiracy theorists?

Various big media outlets that ran 120 stories of Herman Cain's alleged sexual dalliances from November 2 to November 15 didn't see a need to enlighten the masses about Fast and Furious. The number of times "F and F" was mentioned in the same time span? One.

Are informed journalists who remain silent in the face of evil culpable for sins of omission? Are journalists who intentionally subvert truth and invert facts, allowing corrupt government officials to ride roughshod over the rule of law, complicit in the very crimes they're covering up?

Where is the outrage? I would think this is a great new example of political corruption to expose, but I see very little discussion. Why is that?

Where are the Ron Paul constitutionalists denouncing this government overreach? Where are all the peaceniks proclaiming outrage over the death of Brian Terry at the hands of the cartels?

An amoral herd of left-wing journalists acting like "bootlicking propagandists," as Orwell once called members of his own British press in 1944, might find it difficult in the long run to get away with suppressing a scandal involving mass murder. Orwell warned reporters, "Do remember that dishonesty and cowardice always have to be paid for. ... Once a whore, always a whore."

A pimped out press slavishly covering for corrupt leftist regimes while bringing down the opposition is nothing new. It happens openly every day in places like Cuba and Venezuela. But here in the land of the free press?

Ya, there’s no Media Bias, right?

I've studied and listened to lots of different radio opinions f & f but what can you do besides make a good thread about it?

Are you trying to use this as proof of a "liberal" bias in the media?

I agree with you, this is traitorous and pathetic. However, where i stop agreeing with you is the "liberal bias". This is just covering the tracks of shady government business. It happens in both parties, and the news covers for both sides.

No way dude! There is no bias! I'm was fully kept up-to-date on any and all news regarding the Casey Anthony trial.

The family of murdered Border Patrol agent Brian Terry has filed a $25 million wrongful death claim against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives claiming Terry was killed with AK-47s that were knowingly sold under the Fast and Furious gunrunning probe to a straw purchaser for drug cartels.

The government now has six months to respond or the Terry family will file a suit for the $25 million.

Family of murdered Border Patrol agent files $25M claim against ATF

Holder is to blame. Period.

I didn't know that. But I believe it. That they stopped reporting it in the Media is a sure sign of cover up...stupids. We read between lines too, you know.

Thanks for bringing it to ATS attention. You are the light in the dark for searching minds. Have heard about US involvement not only south of the border, but recently in Afghanistan where Russia Today aired an interview that claimed opium production there is up 40 fold since we "took over". And I believe the English Crown Jewels were bought thru the Chinese addiction to Opium once upon a time.

There is no media bias in America, there has never been media bias in America, with constant citizen vigilance you too can be the ones to accuse the media of bias; to keep the media on its toes you must have your own biases against each other honed to a sharp knife point. That way, you can cut to the heart of the matter, the pulse of the news shall be biased no longer if you drink in its bloooooooooooooooood.....

Once you get over the whole Democrat/Republican being separate entities , that give the American Public choice,

it will make sense to you.

Best example of Media Bias being applied, is the TEPCO Blackout .

TEPCO , a Corporation, asked World News Outlets to Blackout reporting events from Japan regarding the 3

Meltdowns. No more news releases, must equal no more problem. Nuclear for the Win.

"Now back to you Wolf in the Situation Room" "Todays top story.... Paris Hilton broke a nail...."

Sharyl Attkisson who works for CBS has done some good reporting. She has filed numerous FOIA requests and done thorough investigative journalism, which is becoming rarer and rarer in the MSM. I think she will have to look for another job in the near future.
www.cbsnews.com...

Eric Holder was also neck-deep involved in the cover-up after the Oaklahoma City Bombing. But that is normal. Henchmen who suppress state crimes and criminal wrongdoings by TPTB get rewarded, while the careers of whislteblowers are runied.

Bet your --- had John Ashcroft pulled some ---- like this, his --- would still be swinging in the breeze.

---- right there is liberal bias. And ---- right there is conservative bias. Fox is still number one I believe.

I don't care Fox CNN ABC NPR Whatever. Of course they are biased.

That's why there is more than one outlet. Fox is closer to the America I want to live in.

Take your Socialist ideas the hell out of here. Social security is SO secure...

THAT IS PRECISELY WHY WE ARE WHERE WE ARE.

If somebody can't see that, then I'm not arguing with you. You don't want to realize the truth.

Less gov. More freedom. Less taxes. Feed the poor, don't buy them flatscreens.

Sheesh I could go on but I'd have to move this to the rant section.

Seek the TRUTH. No matter what it is.

And just cause I think your ideology suxballs, doesn't mean I want to kill you.

I hope in 100 years, we're still here, mostly free and having a good debate about which aliens are the good guys.

Peace all! I'm taking my tired behind to bed.

You could tell others (on ATS)???

You could vote differently based on the corruption you’ve learned about???

You could call your representative and tell him/her to bring Holder to justice???

You could substantively respond to my thread with great insight into the subject based on all of your research???

edit on 2-2-2012 by seabag because: (no reason given)

YES…it is yet another example.

I agree with you, this is traitorous and pathetic. However, where i stop agreeing with you is the "liberal bias".

Then you are PARTIALLY correct, sir!

This is just covering the tracks of shady government business. It happens in both parties, and the news covers for both sides.

You are correct…they all do it. However, please address the reason the LIBERAL media (the majority of MSM) covered the Herman Cain scandal (Who is HE?) 120 times while reporting the Fast and Furious scandal only ONCE???

I’ll wait….

Thanks for your support!

I know…thanks for recognizing!

You should start a thread on these breaking stories!

If you’d care to address why disgusting liberal media bias led to very little coverage (and NO investigation or scrutiny over) the most recent and most obvious government cover up then you’ve found the right thread!!

Uhhmmm.... Really? More freedom? Less government? That's what Fox is about? Last time I checked they are the most effective at getting the public to support not only whatever war America wants to get into next, but also the systematic erosion of our civil liberties in the name of fighting terror. Fox is a joke. As are the rest of them. Not one is any better than the others. Well.. actually Fox might be the worst, but only by a pube

Whew. I thought your thread title was serious.

It all comes form the top: Push this story, kill that story. The obedient little editors click their heels and grunt "Heil General Electric" and make it happen.
