NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Ron Paul's Virginia campaign headquarters in Norfolk has been burglarized. Norfolk police spokesman Chris Amos said the burglary took place between 10 p.m. Thursday and 12:30 p.m. Friday at the headquarters on Shore Drive. Amos said the complainant came into the office and noticed property missing. He also found a side window broken and screen that had been cut. All of the doors were secured and locked. The stolen property was valued at $265.

Maybe not Watergate, but seriously, whoever did this will get caught.

  1. Ran for president

  3. Tries to enforce the constitution
  4. Values the Bill of Rights
  5. Etc.

Where did you get that a monitor was 'cut'? It was a screen that was cut, the article does not state what had been stolen, most likely some signs, flyers, bumper stickers, I mean what else would be kept there?

the robbers must of been romney fans... since you know... Romney stole a bunch of jobs and peoples pensions by selling out after he purposely crashed those companies.

They stole a copy of the Constitution & Bill of rights to blackmail the campaign with.
It is obviously terrorist propaganda. The people who sent in the burglars had never read, seen or heard about anything like the ideasanything like it.

You're joking, right?

Someone's "trying to stop him" and they do less than $400 damage and take property less than $300?

The ones who are trying to stop him are:
* contributing to other candidates' funds
* contributing to other candidates' PACs
* putting up flyers for other candidates
* attending rallies for other candidates
* putting out attack ads (the big guns are)

Honestly, that kind of tactic MIGHT stop someone who was running for local dogcatcher.

Much more likely that it's one of the street people/folks on drugs trying to score some cash by selling the quickly stealable things from an office with easy access.

In the past year:
David Chiu's office was robbed

Carl Wimmer's office was burglarized

Romney's campaign offices were burglarized

Jesus Gonzales' office was robbed at gunpoint

Paul Van Orden's office was burglarized

...and on and on.

In every case (like this one) it's people wanting money -- not some huge conspiracy.
