I don't believe there is going to be any doom. Even I think this is premature, I mean its still January, wait till at least Christmas before pulling a thread like this, if not New Years Eve.

AGREE!! there is no proof at all that anything will happen this year that could be bad enough to cause the destruction that people say will happen.

Perhaps you havnt seen the reports of possible war with Iran, or the abysmal economic picture lately.
May not mean the end of the world, but certainly is doomy and gloomy in my eyes.

Look at the unemployment stats in Europe and the U.S. Look at the economic situations across the world and the debt crisis that's ongoing and reaching a breaking point.

Look at all the warmongering going on with this Iran situation.

You'll have to go to Hollywood with your complaint if you're lookin for a concession. I suspect a very small percentage of '2012ers' on here actually believed it guaranteed doom n gloom. Most believed it might bring period of change, whether it be of the consciousness, of the magnetic poles, of politics, of peace, of economics...

Unemployment approaching record levels in many countries
Youth unemployment at an all time high
Home repossessions up


And many other things..


If you're looking for aliens and extra planets crashing into the earth... then no.

If you want to see REALITY and real doom and GLOOM.... just turn on the news or look at financial forecasts etc etc

Wel said. I believe that there is big change coming. Not the end of the world BUT the end of the world as we know it. Hopefully it'll be a peaceful transition, but I doubt it. Too much going on.
