So,bbob ,if they wait till the population has gone down to ,what was it ,half a billion people, who is going to erect the rest of the stones?

Good point, after the death and destruction needed to kill off nearly 7 billion people I think it would be difficult to get a good erection.

My opinion is that there is no time capsule buried yet.

That is why there is a blank on the stone where the 'date buried' should be.

The guidestones are interesting, but there mre than likely is no time capsule.

R.C Christian. Is this a Pseudonym for Rosicrucianism?

The ancients werent watching the heavens for ships and giggles. They were watching and marking the cycles. We will go through one of he cycles again. Probably the same cycle that brings humans to the precipice or to the brink of total destruction which is when humankind shifts its ways for the better. This has happened 3 times before. Fire, Ice, flood and now? I would start to worry when they bury the time capsule and engrave the 'on' portion of the tablet.

Nothing to fear people. This is what we need. It has happened before and look at how great we got AGAIN. These guide stones mimic many other 'guide stones' found around the ancient world.

On a side note. The guide stones are quite flimsy looking which is sort of good news for people in the area at least. What ever will happen will not be strong enough to knock them down.

A few questions come to mind.

Why Georgia?

I always wonderered why people dont tear those things down.

If I lived closer to them, I would do it myself.

Letting them stand, is accepting them, saying that what they say is alright.
It has alot of really negative thoughts on there. Guess we just gotta wait how bad it has to get, before more people start to stand up and take action.

What disturbs me is that there is a ton of people who go see this monument, read it, walk around, get in their car, go to McDonalds and completely disregard what it says.

I get it, almost all of them sound like decent guidelines, respect nature, be healthy , avoid war, sure. But does anybody realize that an idea of 500,000,000 people requires the death of about 6.5 billion.

Why did this not raise a million red flags when this was erected?

the 500,000,000 people guideline is also the most ridiculous. The world is no where near over populated. People choose dense populated cities as a matter of convenience and that would stay the same. There is so much land that is still unoccupied and easily habitable. Unless it has something to do with pollution, but then why not just state pollution and not population?

Agreed, I live out in the Boondocks of South Dakota. South Dakota is a good sized state, but only has a population of about 750,000-800,000. Thats not even a fraction of the largest city nearby cty (Minneapolis). Our population is not an issue.

Isn't the Georgia gudstones meant to be in an area that will survive, or remain unhindered if a world wide flood were to occur? If so, perhaps, the time capsule contains, or will contain knowledge of what we have gained, so the people who come across the gudestones in the future will come across a vast amount of knowledge after digging.

It's either the lost contents of Al Capone's vault or it's the last remains of Jimmy Hoffa.

Actually, I think it's where the state of Georgia wants to bury Obama.

Well its a time capsule , like the one at denver airport , and since its a freemason "tradition" , quite possibly the WTC ... never thought of that one ...hmmmmmmm

Anyway , i dont know what theyre burrying but i`m betting its not chocolate bars , pictures , and toys from yester-year like normal time capsules.

And yes ....... its definatley the free masons who built the guide stones.

Does anyone know who built & erected the Georgia Guidestones?

Maybe by finding out who the person is (or people are), we can get a better idea of their background & try work out what'd be buried under it.

R.C CHRISTiAN is a pseudonym for the Rosicrucians.

research the Rosicrucians you may find some interesting things, you may not. Most of their history seems benevolent,,,but this 500,000,000 population idea definitely flies in the face of "benevolent".

And this monument is not out in town square or anything, it's actually a good 50 miles away from any major highways..i think it's in a pretty remote area. the land it's on is owned by R.C. CHRISTiAN i think...i tour in a band, and have looked up where the Guidestones are compared to our travels through Georgia.

anyway, when i read that slab It says to me that there is no time capsule yet. i'd bet that "they" wouldn't put one in there until "the sh!t hits the fan".

p.s. i also, don't understand how someone hasn't destroyed these already. calling for the death of 6,500,000,000 people should inspire these things to be taken down. they at least deserve some good ol' graffiti every-so-often. this leads me to believe that they or the land have some security.
