Hey everyone a friend of mine has directed a Martial Arts based movie short called Sacrilege, which I've been lucky enough to get a part in. I
play the duel sword wielding, cloak wearing Demon (who's later in a black vest lol). The film is about 2 Angels that go on a quest to confront God,
but along the way bump into some resistance from both sides (Angels and Demons).
We're trying really hard to get some funding to extend this film and hopefully go on to do more so if you can pretty please take a minute to watch
the trailer and post some positive feedback for us on Youtube I would really, really appreciate it!
I've spent most of my life training in various Martial Arts and am a professional Muay Thai fighter and Champion. I sacrifice so much and put
everything i have, mentally, physically and financially into my training, so an opportunity like this could make all the difference in my life.
The film was directed by Phil Tommy and also stars the likes of Ross "The Boss" Mason who is one of the top Mixed Martial Artists in the UK.
Thanks again for your time, and Enjoy the Trailer!
I used to do small time videos with my buddies, I loved every minute of it. One thing we all have left is our sense of creativity, I love seeing
creativity put together, on a big or small scale.
Lol thanks for watching and the honest opinions xD lol.
I've got quite a few fav fighters Saenchai, Buakaw, Rambo. The list goes on. The Netherlands have a great level of Thai Boxing. In my opinion only
second to Thailand i hope to go out and train there sometime.
Cool and good luck to you. Hope you have fun, learn much and that it leads to something bigger and better. Ignore the naysayers, you gotta start
somewhere. Sylvester Stallone was trying to get his start in the movie world and was so down and out he agreed to perform in a low budget porno just
for money to live. It was only after he became famous that it was released of course, presumably to cash in on his fame or try and discredit him.
Good luck and be careful, those swords look kinda sharp!
I'm more into the tye-dye myself but then I don't like pain.
Good luck with the movie! I've done a couple of low-budget Martial Art films in the UK myself, and understand how difficult it is to get these
projects off the ground, there seems to be zero support for new film makers in UK unless you happen to be related to some one already in the biz...
I'm based in London, I know plenty of people here who like to get involved doing these sort of projects - I can't do PM's on ATS, but get in touch
with me through my Youtube if you ever want to do a bit of networking _javascript:icon('')
Here's a link to one I did, its more of 'tribute' than a trailer to a film I did - many of these low-budget deals never get finished, I think a lot
of directors bite off more than they can chew! youtu.be...
That was pretty impressive. I think you might be right with the biting off more than they can chew statement. In many of the shots the directors seem
to have filmed/edited it wrong and the effect of combat was lost completely. In many other shots though they did get it right so maybe it was just a
time/money thing. It's still quite pro-looking in places though, by no means some unthought-out mess. If they were that easy to make I guess everyone
would be a director.
Yeah it's hard work getting it off the ground. The directors dedicated though. It's still being edited and theres still more to shoot, but he's
really putting his all into it. The trailers still quite raw. The fight choreography is a lot better than what u see in the trailer aswel. Didn't
wanna give too much away. Your films pretty cool aswel. I enjoyed watching it thanks for the post! I'll send u a post on Youtube
