Please and thank you!

Warning: It's pretty bizarre. I think someone took one too many drugs before making this.

wow, that was very bizarre.
I don't get it either, no rhyme or reason to it.
like you said, probably drug induced.

This is just plain bizarre.

Maybe its one of this very far fetched metaphorical cartoons that takes some weird approach to a political situation?

Comrade Chekov's Flying Circus

So hallucinations come from the moon? That's what I got from it.

Looks to me like an allegory of evolution. The artwork reminds me of that in the Beatles movie Yellow Submarine. According to the video the title is "lolwut". What is it exactly you're trying to find out about it?

It is very strange. Quite creative actually.
Kind of reminds me of some animations that I used to see on Canadian TV late at night. They were funded by the National Film Board of Canada.
Maybe Russia has some funding for creative people and this is a product of that program.

"lolwut" basically means "WTF"

I'm guessing this entire toon was some sort of exercise in animation, which is why there seems to be no point in it.
The theme does seem to mirror an evolutionary theme with bits of creationism mixed in. The bone at the end seems to be a reward for the accepted status quo. Just my two cents.

Was thinking the same thing as I watched it. Looks like outtakes or experiments with the same type of animation as from The Wall.

Yeah, "Lolwut" is most likely not the name. That's just what the uploader named it to express his confusion.

I do agree with others that it seems to be evolution based but who really knows?

Does anyone here know Russian characters? If so, you could try typing that first bit into a search when the movie started. It says something in Russian but I can't read it.

It looks like drawings of the animations from here:

Almost has to be Gerald Scarfe or one of his students type work.

Sweet! Thanks, jahn369!

This is totally what I wanted to know.

I wonder if this is the typical cartoon style for Russian, or at least, for 1980-90's Russia.

Still seems drug inspired to me, but maybe he is just very creative.
