I'll be honest, if Ron Paul doesn't succeed in getting the nomination and then doesn't run as an independent like he has said, I'd prefer Newt over Rommney.

Thank you but everything will probably change in February 2012.
Watch for Hillary to be trotted out soon.

I actually think your guy might pull it off. Congratulations!
I think the country will never vote for a man who is as wealthy as Ronmey, especially since he doesn't pay fair tax and hides his money offshore to avoid paying his fair share and expecting the poor and middle class to continue paying for the operations of this country...

Serious question. Newts former ethics violations. They are not a concern?
I would have difficulty criticizing Obama for his obvious lack of ethics then supporting Newt.
What say you?

That's all good and well, but perceptions are key in every election.
I want Obama out!
So we have to concentrate on the best person who can do that.

I would have to disagree. Just because it is all the media talkas about does not make it so.
Most Americans are still employed and there is a much bigger problem that most people worry about......getting by with the money they do make.
How to pay their bills with the money they make, rising food prices and other such issues weigh on their minds more than jobs.
Also, this entire thing with Newt is a disgrace to the process and insulting to the intelligence. Newt is not an ethical man! How can we talk about the troubles of government with any sort of honesty or even expect change when we are allowing men with previous records of shady government dealings to take the front spot in our national elections?
It says much more about the people who support him then it does Newt.
Does it not scream insanity when the GOP race is being lead by a politician that was investigated for ethics violations, and we expect people to respect the GOP for it?
Ridiculous!
By the way, the entire "socialist, liberal, George Soros" rhetoric only serves to detract any weight from your argument. Some people view that kind of talk as uninformed neocon propaganda that is lapped-up by the brainwashed dogs of right wing radio and tv.
I am willing to listen to your opinions and arguments, but leave the talking points at home.
