People who believe any silly birther made up story about Obama

Well I think people see the other choice is either going to be Newt or Mitt and they have had a change of heart. And also the people who like you who are on the anti Obama bangwagon tend to post completely made up or long since proven false claims against the guy. Once you get past the hyperbole and fabrications the guy has done ok in a very hard time. Great no. Better than the other options? Yes. And its not just here. Better be ready for four years of ranting and just plain out making things up.

The difference is that we KNOW how bad it'll be if Obama gets re-elected.

With a GOP candidate, we don't know. It might be better, it certainly can't get worse.

But it's a sham! Your vote doesn't count.

Presidential candidates are picked by the establishment---Bilderberger meetings--and the rest of that cabal's scary "get togethers."

We're going to live through months of people debating candidates here--as if it all really mattered.

I'd much rather people spend their time debating and coming up with ways to take our country back!

ATS does not think with one mind.
You are not in an occult.
You are on a discussion forum with people all over the world who have their own thoughts and beliefs. We are not some sort of Groupthink collective... In fact, that's contrary to the very idea of ATS...

So, how is this hope and change working out for ya?

Pretty good, actually.
Thanks for asking.

I'm sorry I didn't "ex-text" my list. The list has made the rounds in emails and FB and everywhere else, so please don't insult me by pretending that I had adopted it as my own.

And certainly we can have a debate without being insulting. It's a sign of intelligence. Practice it a bit.

I have to disagree. We take our country back BY voting!

I still believe.

I think everyone has forgotten to eat their Wheaties this morning. Or have you been voted off the island?

Listen, I think you know what I meant in my post. Don't be so literal. I was merely pointing out that there were a lot of people running around this morning pretending that their votes count.

I think most "awakened" people don't believe that is true anymore.

Your mentioning intelligence...

Ummm how much intelligence does one have to believe the birther BS.

Also when you don't give a link to an OP..one assumes your attempting to make it your own.

You never mention it was from email or blog...it is only wise(ooops forgot it was you) to show where you got it from other wise your plagiarizing.

And friend, you still haven't explained to me anything about the NDAA. Would you mind..just for a minute..explaining to me what you think this bill is and what it entails?

Because anyone who really understands the NDAA could not---- (not if you care about your fellow Americans) vote for the man who signed the NDAA into law.

The NDAA should horrify you and scare you-----not cause you to love Obama more.

I'd like to think so too, but I have to say, in my wildest dreams I'm still trying to figure out how Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi managed to worm their way back into the picture. It made absolutely no sense to me at all !!

I didn't say I was a birther. In fact, I've never really been involved in the birther issue.

If the "establishment" wants someone to be president, he'll be president--no matter if he was born on Mars or in a cave in Iran.

We're not in control.

If that's what you were pointing out, why didn't you mention that in your opening post? NOT ONE WORD about it. Or in your title? Why is your title about Obama love if you wanted to talk about our votes not counting?

Let me refresh your memory about your post, because you seem to have forgotten what it's about:

The ATS that I love would NEVER re-elect the man who signed NDAA into law.

If your point is that our vote doesn't count, why are you talking about "reelection"? And ATS's votes?

What else has Obama accomplished?

And if our vote doesn't count, why are trying to convince people NOT to vote for Obama?

I think most "awakened" people don't believe that is true anymore.

You clearly don't believe it either. If you think our votes don't count, why all the panic about people voicing support for Obama? Have you been going to all the Ron Paul threads, telling everyone their vote doesn't count? I must have missed that...

When people make these types of replies, the least they can do is point out at least one of the "lies" and explain why it's lie. Got anything else?

First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded)....... for his wife.

Michelle Obama’s Staff

Lelyveld said that Michelle Obama’s staff was actually no different than that of her predecessor, Laura Bush

First President to go on multiple global ‘apology tours’.

Fact Checker

The apology tour never happened.

First President to terminate America’s ability to put a man in space.

Chain e-mail claims Obama is first president to "terminate America’s ability to put a man in space"

Richard Nixon, perhaps in conjunction with Gerald Ford, would be the one to qualify for the unwanted title of "first president to terminate America’s ability to put a man in space" -- not Obama

Could do them all but it's getting tiresome doing homework you should be doing before spouting BS.

Boy, what's with the Obama thread killers? Is it possible to have a discussion on ATS without bickering about how a post is formatted, titled, laid out, etc.?? Anyone want to discuss Obama?

Any opinions on the Keystone XL pipeline rejection??

Buffett’s Burlington Northern benefits from Keystone rejection

Warren Buffett’s Burlington Northern Santa Fe LLC is among U.S. and Canadian railroads that stand to benefit from the Obama administration’s decision to reject TransCanada Corp.’s Keystone XL oil pipeline permit.

With modest expansion, railroads can handle all new oil produced in western Canada through 2030, according to an analysis of the Keystone proposal by the U.S. State Department.

“Whatever people bring to us, we’re ready to haul,” Krista York-Wooley, a spokeswoman for Burlington Northern, a unit of Buffett’s Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire Hathaway Inc., said in an interview. If Keystone XL “doesn’t happen, we’re here to haul.”

Since we are discussing Obama, answer me this?

Why is every bad thing that happens his fault, yet he gets no credit for the good things?

Thank you Deetermined for bringing back some reason to my OP. I found your last comment really interesting and I'm going to read more about it this morning. The whole pipeline decision really confused a lot of people--especially since Canada has now decided to sell their oil to China. Perhaps your comment will shine a little light on this issue.

Thank you!

"Warren Buffett’s Burlington Northern Santa Fe LLC is among U.S. and Canadian railroads that stand to benefit from the Obama administration’s decision to reject TransCanada Corp.’s Keystone XL oil pipeline permit..."

Definintely worth looking into.

Well..it might be because "the buck stops here."

A President accepts responsibility for the state of the country he is running, whether the problems are truly his to claim or not.

That's just part of the job---but every President knows this.
