Late on a response but thanks
I had a burst of creativity!

Unfortunately, It's gone now...lol
I hate that, I do that a lot. I will get into drawing and painting, get whatever it is that I need to get out, out, and then...nothing for months, maybe years.
I hope that creative burst comes back

Try to focus your creative abilty on a landscape, dont think "water colour light colurs, walks in the park" LOL

I mean like a scene from lord of the rings accross at the mordor mountain, reds greys, browns, oranges, yellows, blues something moody.

This is just an idea at diverting your tellent from evil faces, you are clearly skilled why not try to push it

Im being bias here because as much as i love a great artist doing his or her thing, demonic faces and such just dont do it for me :p

Or how about something like this?

Took a while.

I'm painting this one now. I was getting bored with the dragons and river painting but couldn't decide what to paint. I ended up pestering my wife until she picked a drawing for me to do to see if I can paint it. I spent about 5 minutes doing black and white and haven't touched it since... It is still sitting on the easel...staring at me...daring me to finish it... LOL!

Now that is interesting

I like that alot, more than your pics above to be honest.

I admire your use of colours, it helps to create a great amount of mood in your drawings.

Thank you

That painting is still in the works, but near complete. I had to stop for a few days and really take a hard look at it before I do anything else.

How coincidental,

Biigs said the same what I was about to after seeing the first few and then kept scrolling to see something that I can resonate with, a mountain. powerful painting that grabs a hold of you and pulls you in

I like your use of shades even if unfinished, grey scale drawings if rendered with a talent you seem to possess can be magical as in ever time you look you can find something new.

Brilliant work

Im actually stunned that you had a pic of exactly what i thought would look good from you....

seriously, wow.

Anyways, you got a great artistic eye, like i sed before im bias to the non demonic face thing as a personel preference, but perhaps spread your ideas for your next peice even further out.

Perhaps your interpretation of the french cathedral Notre-Dame at night, somting along those lines.

The way you pick up on the leading lines and manage to make them more drastic with the rest of the drawing is a gift

Same here,

After seeing the first two images in the OP I thought landscape with mountain in background could be a sight to see.

Then I see your post and

and then 2 posts later

I want something I can hang on a wall within hours of finishing it lol.

As I have many times wanted to attempt,

Instead of hanging on a wall, use the whole wall for instance in the lounge room bedroom where ever and make it a feature wall.

Have a path/trail leading to a mountainous landscape is what I have pictured many time in my head when looking at a few wall in my house. Once complete could act as a doorway into another world if one was ever required or wanted to escape for a while.

If I could get away with painting a mural on my wall I would. I've wanted to do that for a long time.

Thanks for the kind words!

I am still working on the one my wife picked out for me...

Here is a look at a very early start of it,I've changed a bit around since I took this picture, there is more to it now..

The green crap is no longer coming out of it's mouth and there is a crystal ball........

Not going to say much else until I finish it.

I never did put the finished painting up here...guess I should. lol

The end result was ATS inspired by people telling me that any divination is of the devil.
The sarcasm in me took over the painting and this was the end result, the devil.

I like them... in fact I do a few in a similar style. my only suggestion if any is to give yourself a little more contrast between your lights and darks in order to keep it from becoming too muddy. You don't want to lose all those great details.
