I have friends who live in Thunderbay, Ottawa, Toronto and the suburbs North Bay, Sudbury, and even further up north. Not one person I know has heard this noise. There is even a video from my home town, North Bay, and not one person on my facebook account heard this noise. Not one person on any of their accounts heard that noise. North Bay's population is 53,000. If 200 people on my Facebook account have 200 friends, that's estimated 40,000 people who did not hear the noise.

Well a friend of mine in Ottawa had heard the strange sounds or was in the middle of them and he wont let me talk about them, i cant blame him he could have been in right in the center of it.

For Gave me ATS mods for saying this but its people like you cant have an Openmind nor think logical so what do you do then? you turn to either insults or act like you dont care if you didn't care about the strange sounds why did you post the posts about them then in the first place?

The video in the OP was good. I suspect that this will die down and people will stop talking about these videos since the connection to the trumpets in "The Apocalypse of John".

If these were actual noises from the sky that sound like trumpets you almost HAVE to make that connection and i doubt that was the intent of the people who make these hoaxes and especially those who perpetuate the supernatural \ Alien rumor. So my impression is we will see much less and less of a big deal about it.

The videos that would really interest people are the ones that make "War of the Worlds" sound or some variation of that particular instrument synth. Since so many people are on this whacky end of world kick lately these (fake) videos crop up. Problem there is if you combine that sound and Book of Revelations you have a Christian theme that to me sounds too much like the trumpets to just cast aside SO my own impression is you will see these videos less and less. Not to mention it is basically proven they are fake.

The other noises, which have made less of an impact on people are just ambient sounds that travel through the air, particularly when it is very quiet in the vicinity of the people hearing recording them.

Well i will just say some of them are fake but however not all of them, the Ukraine kiev one isn't fake, it doesn't like the sound is from the movie.

I am not asking very much from you. All I wanted was a link to a video that has not been debunked, and can clearly be connected to the original Kiev video. You are trying to suggest that they are abundant and obvious, but that is not how I see this event. If you are correct in your observations, I don't understand why you are not willing to share that information?

I read this forum as a source of alternate news. By no means does that require me to believe everything I see, read or hear. The same logic applies to main stream media, the Saturday news paper or business news. Too be honest; most everything posted on this forum is debunked at one point in time or another. I am not psychic, I am not being abducted by aliens, I don't see UFO's.

You definition of an "Open Mind" is confusing. There are many things in life that will remain a mystery. It is impossible to "debunk" or "prove" everything. Somethings are beyond the capacity of human understanding. Our brains are only so big. Some people choose to fill their minds with wonder and mystery, trying to understand secrets of the Universe, the unexplained events around. For them; they see a Universe of Chaos where wonder and amazement will reach out and find you at random. You (and others) believe that by hearing a strange sound yourself, and watching videos of other strange sounds, that something of greater importance than the norm is happening in your life. Those who are not aware, or awake, to those ideas are missing out on something of epic proportions. These sounds are potentially a life-changing event that mold the face of the planet and change the definition of life as we know it.

We each have our own version of reality. We judge our surroundings with a bias that we developed in our minds based on two things. The first being information; which is readily available on the internet. The second is experience; which you cannot get in front of a computer screen. I am a person who makes my judgments in life based more on experience than knowledge. I have traveled a fair amount in my life, and I have talked to a lot of people from many cultures about many personal topics. I have had deep conversations with homeless people who lived on Occupy camps, and I have shared a beer in a fine pub with hedge fund managers. I learn through face to face conversation, and witnessing and questions people.

I am not trying to insult you by any means, I would just like something put on the table I can listen to and think "Hmm, that sounds like something of epic proportions." But you haven't given me any information, you have just given me an opinion that has no evidence, no name associated or rank. You cannot even prove that you do not have an agenda.

But, I want to point out one thing. Suggesting that I "Don't have an opinion mind" is more of an insult than being called stupid, or a moron or an idiot. Considering the percentage of the population that reads and participates in this forum, and considering that I am here doing just that, I am hardly being closed minded. I came here for an explanation; and the majority of people who believe in deeper understanding seem to have poor understanding of perceptual positions. In other words; it's hard for you too accept that people would mislead in order to please you, because they desire your friendship.

You can insult me for saying "I believe in God", and that's fine. But you religiously put meaning behind everyday events, contributing them to "beyond human explanation". In reality; if it is beyond human explanation, that you cannot ever explain it. Why are you concerned about things that have no impact on your life, and cannot be explained? The other videos, like the one you linked to, are just some people who bought a house near industry or wherever that noise is coming from. Trains passing from long distances are one source. Animals get used to these sounds and accept them as nature. If i buy an apartment directly across from an elevated train, i already know the train is going to pass i accept this. In the animal kingdom animals are born with htese dissruptions already there so they just accept it as noises.

Also, most importantly, people hear and feel things differently, just as they see color differently. These are my opinions...except for the last part

I heard the strange wooshing more jet like sound back in the late 70,s early 80s with my whole family and lot others in my street at the time , in birmingham England,over the course of many nights if not months it was in teh papers , national and local etc ,

At the time it was most likely thought to be the natural gas pipelines , however this was later discounted by the gasboard,decades later it was found out that several underground comms bunkers had been built around that time , one of those in i think sutton coldfield was demolished recently and built on.Anchor in the centre of town was built in secret under the pretence of an underground railway(sound familiar) but construction had finished at this time.However i dont know if the noise could have been from the construction at the time,The noise we heard was more like a jet (or compressed gas movin) sort of stuttering along a pipe building up into a louder noise the pausing then starting again,Almost like a slow motion steam pile driver from the 30s

It was also asked if it could be nuclear trains using a route not normally used at night , but predictaby no answer on this was forthcoming and the trains were a distinctly different more direct normal sound.

The sounds in the debunked vids are totally different to those heard by me , they sound like a steel foundry pressing mill.
The most simila rto what i have heard is the whooshing noise vid on her and eleswhere but louder sort of through the ground...

At 2012hoax.org we debunk the claims made by the doomsayers all day long. As far as I know not a single one of them has been convinced by our arguments. But, THEY are not the audience. The audience for videos like this one and 2012hoax.org are the people who are worried about these claims, and are looking for an explanation.

See? even 2012hoax.org are saying they still haven't debunked them it, and aren't convinced yet.

And i agree with you on that some think and even claim they sound like like huge trumpets or stolen audio clips from RedState or WoW which is false, i agree there are some fakes but all of them if not most like the Ukraine kiev and Costa Rica ones are real.

Canada AM (morning news) just played the video from The Pas, and said tomorrow morning they will be covering the sounds that have been reported world wide.
They said they're going to try to have answers, they said they've been studying this for a couple of weeks now.

It'll be interesting to see what they say......

The guy from The Pas commented on his own video that it was fake. It's called "The trumpets have gone viral" because it's fake. It's a reference to viral videos. The guy said "I'm getting thousands of hits and making money on google ads, you idiot" on his own video.

He deleted his comments because it was taking away from his viewership.

The only person in the Kiev video that notices the sounds is the lady with her baby, and she looks in the direction of the camera. No one else seems to care that the whole sky is trumpeting for 15 minutes, and no one interviewed a week later that lives in that area even remembers it.

It's all the same sound from the Kiev video. The CR video might be different; but I doubt it is anything significant.

The world isn't coming to an end, and these sounds are bull.

That's interesting, but it sounds man made. I'm sure if you explored enough, you would find the source of the sound.
