Authorities on science do not consider the strange sounds in the sky over Kota Samarahan near hear as a laughing matter. They neither denied it as paranormal nor a hoax. Though explanation over the ‘phenomenon’ is still pending, some people have turned the matter into points for jokes, especially on Facebook. It is not connected to the very recent earthquake in Sumatra,” he said when contacted yesterday. Fadillah, who is also Petra Jaya MP, said he had spoken to one of the witnesses whom his team would meet soon. The strange sounds that teacher Mohd Ferdauz Jemain heard in the morning of Jan 11 has been posted in the blog under ‘Strange Sounds in the Sky’ which is dedicated to unexplained, strange, bizarre, weird and/or eerie sounds or rumble in the sky from all over the globe.

It seems to me this is more than a hoax...this is getting weird.

I just posted this video on Facebook and it immediately caught the attention of a friend of mine who is stationed in Germany. He commented on the embed and said that he has friends from that area (he's been living there for years) and he would contact them to see what they know. I'm not getting my hopes up but if everything checks out with his friends and if they also heard the "hum" then I'll get their emails and hopefully we can prove this due to credible witnesses.

Your not alone hearing this in Michigan, but I thought I was! I heard it over the summer four or five times. Like a jet, but slightly different and it has a high pitched 'whine' deep in the 'jet' sound. On all the occasions that I have heard this noise, it lasted for very long times. I heard it. It was there. It was real. But I have no idea what it was. Oakland county by-the-way. And no, no trumpets. It sounded nothing like these recent videos. I have thought of recording it, but then again, why?

I've heard it here in Michigan too - Thought it was the downstairs neighbors heater turning on until i went outside and it sounded like a train flying through the air...

They wanted evidence for the Landlord as the last time it happened, he sent a plumber out and the guy had to pay for it - so he kept filming to convince the Landlord that it wasn't coming from the pipes - pretty credible - I'd do the same.

Yes, I agree. It was not so much what they were saying....minus a few clichés, like how they complained about the noise on a Sunday......how stereotypical Deutsche is that??? Lol!!!

But the thing that clued me up, was the tone in their voices, their deutsch did not flow naturally, it was stilted and awkward.

Unless that is a German dialect I am not familiar with.....which is a possibility I guess, but unlikely.

I think this is a hoax, but I am not ruling out the possibility that these noises exist, just in this case it is not believable. It reminded me of Cloverfield auf deutsch( in German).....

The dog would have to be trained to do this crying on cue which is beyond the scope of most pet owners.

All it takes to make our dog behave like that is to show him a frankfurter and not give it to him.

The Kiev* video had drilling (ie pnuematic drill) and the video creator said specifically there was works going on nearby which is why you could hear a "drilling" in front of the 'cloverfield' sound. You can hear the same drill in this video, ergo, fake. The "acting" wasn't even that great. So, it raised a smile - but it's just someone's video project.

In summary - its a fictional piece, using the audio from a previous video.

I have a relation in Germany and i will ask if anything out of the ordinary has been seen or heard. I wont ask directly regarding noises from the sky as i feel if what we are being told truth, it will be the first thing mentioned....right?

These weird sounds are freaking me out BIG time...........and the other day I was showing them to a friend at their house on their computer.............a couple of them were just hmmmmmm, but others of them made his 3 dogs cry and whimper and try to hide.
They make me feel like hiding as well..........my skin all prickles up ......

Really good footage/recording. Hope it isnt a hoax, but can see how it could be a large multi engined aircraft, or some sort of brass instrument
