IF there is going to be hostilities over this, let it be after Iran closes the waterway.

And let it have broad international and regional support.

If Iran wants war, let them provoke it, and the retaliation should be all or nothing... Theirs will certainly be.

You can destroy much of Iran's military defensive/offensive capabilities rather quickly, but what can be done to eliminate the proxy terrorist threats?

Either way, we're stepping onto a landmine here.

Just posted, and then closed by a mod, pointing to this thread

"Iran 'definitely' closing Strait of Hormuz over EU oil embargo"

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Closed thread has a link to the article.

Did not want to post it here, since I did not start the thread.

(I guess if you find it interesting, star the OP of that thread)

Let's get something straight; the EU embargo is in accordance with UN resolutions.
The US placed it's own independant embargo on Iran way back in 1995!

From what I understand the sanctions mean on going contracts can be continued until 1 july, but no one is allowed to bid for new contracts. So Iran will instantly lose money, especially with the gold and silver trade embargo as well.

Heres a question-
What if Iran wishes to move an oil tanker through the strait to say North Korea or China-Will the west allow them to do that,or would they be prevented from moving the oil?

"ANGELS ?)
bounded @ the
Euphrates river
are freed."

Angels,,, no they were not "ANGELS"
plotters and followers,
lustful fornicators,
followers after themselves,
looking upon the image of God,
and weeping with desire !
Having forgot there place,
and aliegience,
they broke there vows,
all!
And following there,
Leader,
the great
bringer of light?
No,,
A false light it was/is, and always will be !
For he too is cursed by GOD !

For in his pity, for Man,
was hidden
within his own heart,
not only a failure too trust in
the Word of God,
But a desire too overcome,
the very Word of God !
And One fell from the Throne of God,
not by the Hand of God,
But by a Rebelious Heart, and a lust also,,
A lust for the Throne of Man.
For Truly it is said,
"If i can not rule in heaven,
the i will rule the earth"
Forgetting Who Created Who and What!
From Whom does the Word need to Bow?
None i say, for before there was light!
There WAS the WORD!
And the Word was given unto Man!

So get over it!

Me.

And yes they would be set free ONLY !
if it is indeed the Day Of The Opening of the Secret Books.

Me.

Iran probably wishes that they did have a nuclear weapon right now. Because this is what happens if you dont have them.

The once who have WMD walk all over you, because without them you have no rights. As you your self proclaim your personal opinion on what rights Iran should have.

I state an opinion....I don't impose that opinion, a massive difference my friend.

And I said I feel 'uneasy' at the prospect of Iran having nuclear weapons, does that negate their 'right' to have them?

However, Iran is a signature of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
en.wikipedia.org...

Yet as someone correctly pointed out, the US has consistently refused to enter into any constructive negotiations with Iran and I'm sure I recall the US Ambassador to the UN childishly walking out when Ahmadinejad addressed the UN Assembly.

I am more than aware that the blame does not sit solely at the feet of any one government, nation or organisation.

As far as the timing of the Great book I watch for ath Euphrates to some how be dried--- to know accuracy BobAthome. I am not fear mongering as the fear is already in play. I am more less alerting that there is data on this beleived by some or not. And I find it strange that there is tension in that region...

REV16:12
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared

16:13
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

16:14
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Iran are effectively being baited by the same global cartel who did the same in Iraq.
And do not believe the crap the media and politicians spout about these sanctions being peaceful-Its the path to war, because sanctions are part of a warplan-what better way to make an enemy start using up their stockpiled resourses than sanctions.
Weaken your enemy on all fronts before you strike them...straight outta "the art of war."

We are watching a precarious moment here and can only hope that cooler heads and the wisdom of those who are suppose to be governing will prevail in this case.

Iran has the capacity to make things very difficult for all those around the world striking 2 fold. The first is that they could try to close the water way, the Straits of Hormuez, in an attempt to cause more economic strife for the rest of the world. They appear to be moving in that direction, as they seek to approach the negotiation table from a point of strength.

The other aspect is that they could just stop producing and shipping oil, thus adding to the problems, no oil, means that the world supply would drop and the demand would raise up, causing the gas prices to skyrocket up, and put a real pinch on the world and especially the USA and the EU. The combination of both, pretty much gives them an initial advantage at this stage of the game, as they sit back and watch.

Iran's going to keep pushing and pushing .... :shk:

Seriously .. spend the money and build a freak'n pipeline and avoid control-freak Iran and it's temper tantrums. It'll cost a bunch and it'll drive the price of oil up, but the world can't afford to have Iran shut down the strait because 1/5 of the oil goes through it.

It's Iran that is subject to sanctions.

Iran that is having it's assets frozen.

Iran that is having an embargo on it's Banking.

How is it that you think Iran is doing the pushing ??

Explain..
