Relating to your mention about Norwegian Bunkers, the following was posted on another site supposedly by a Politician backing that up:

Photographs were provided and real names given, but were removed for the purpose of the article.

Norwegian Bunkers

If it's true, makes for some interesting times ahead...

I watched a youtube video a few years ago of Pres Bush jr talking to another elite in a strange exchange that had Bush saying something to the effect of "I'll see you if we both make it".

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I know I didn't imagine this.

You're so right Freenrgy2. The late, great Carlin was a genius and a genuinely good person. I miss that man, seriously.
I'm also of an age and disposition, health-wise, that my only real option is to just let it happen. I am not afraid and I sense you aren't either.
And yes, I want the family near, too.

I couldn't agree more! S&F for you!

Whatever happens, I doubt it will turn out like TPTB might be planning. To the aware observer, it's already clear they are panicking (media ignoring Ron Paul, him getting massive support, occupy, people waking up, etc.) If TPTB are panicking, what does that say about their plans? It's obvious: they're probably won't work like designed.

You made such excellent points, I just had to jump in. My family has often discussed how important it is to notice the things the media WON'T report. It speaks volumes, really.

If TPTB weren't worried they wouldn't hesitate to allow full reporting of the numerous disasters that are happening on a near-continuous basis. Remember how they used to love reporting disasters? Nowadays, it goes under-reported, at best. Yes, they're scared.

I wrote this a few days ago for another blog.

Update: As a consequence of all of the derivative trading last week which is for the 1st time turning to Soverign debt..... Greece looks like it's going to implode! What will happen then to the Euro??!! This could get VERY MESSY!

A COMING BANK HOLIDAY FOR ALL?!!

We NO longer live in a democracy in the UK or the US…......this is government by the Oligarchy in the shape of the Banksters.

On the same day the house of Lords is debating benefit caps - Vince Cable is limply proposing legislation to curb the pay of the Corporate masters. AS IF!!!

The latest strategic war manoeveur against the 99% is to cap the housing benefit so that places like Westminster will be cleared of the peasants... making way for of course, more of the elite to move in - driving up prices. The Cap they say is very generous at £26,000 per annum and I think many families in the UK would be happy to live on £26K. However this only going to effect people who have to pay high rents. For once it will effect people living in houses in the more affluent areas of eg London. It just irks me to think that as a by-product - the peasants will have to move out of these affluent areas into poorer lower rent areas - so the more of the elite can live closer to the City. No doubt of course the property prices & rents will rise in these areas as a consequence and then the riff raff will never be able to move back.

THIS In the same week that it's announced RBS's Chairman is to receive £1.8M bonus!

I was told the other day that Barclay's employees have been told not to spend their bonuses this year overtly but just to drip spend it, so that other people don't notice they've had one.... they've been told that alot of people are very angry with the banks already! I wonder why? Cuts have already gone through with tax credits etc AND what's more families with disabled children are to have their benefits cut in another shake up. I don't think anyone wants to see people scrounging on benefits it's just not nice to see genuine cases where possibly vunerable people are going to struggle.

NO ONE seems to mention that both here and in the US.... we continue to hand out welfare benefits in the form of Quantative Easing by the bucket loads to the Banksters et al. Yet in both of these economic power houses.... the poorer are seeing their welfare benefits, pensions and standards of living eroded.

ALL we are seeing is a PRIVATISATION OF GAINS - making the elite richer and a SOCIALIZATION & GLOBALISATION) OF ANY LOSSES making the rest of us poorer!

Forcing people to become as Keiser terms them........"debt slaves to the Oligarchy"

It's even worse in the US - there are now apparently estimated to be 1.5 Million homeless children in the US. When houses are respossessed in the US(forclosed) - families including those with children are pretty much on their own. Masses of empty properties eg in California, which now belong to the banks while more and more tent cities spring up. THIS in the richest economy in the world.

If the $700Billion hand out by the US Fed to Wall Street after they let Lehman's fail - had instead been used to assist homeowners and their dodgy subprime mortgages, which the banks made billions on - they would have been out of recession by now. However THAT isn't what's required. What's required is that the elite get their bonus packages - come what may and to hell with everyone else!

Bank of America and other lenders are now facing lawsuits in the US having been caught red handed alledgedly to boot...forging documents and pressurising judges to speed up foreclosures so that these assets improve their balance sheets. What they've got away with over in the US is being replicated in the UK and across Europe.

These videos might seem OTT but if a coming "bank holiday" really happens, then ALL of us are going to be deeply effected in our pockets and yet again the banksters and the ruling elite will profit enormously.

"On the Edge" has now been banned by Rupert Murdoch's owned news mafia in the UK but you can still watch episodes online. This interview with Gonzola Lira must have made a few squirm

ALL of the politicians are powerless across the globe in the face of their "Paymasters General" on Wall Street and the Square Mile.

Part of the problem in Greece - is not only the corruption that's gone on - but also the fact that Wall Street insisted they buy toxic CDOs in exchange for their input into their economy. French banks are on their knees also as their purchases of these blatant Ponzi schemes are coming back to haunt them.

Now it's payback time and the predators know where the dead bodies are lying, they are going after the suckers - to build up next year's bonus package. Never mind if it brings the whole sorry mess collapsing down on top of them - they couldn't care less!

History will look back on all this in disbelief!...An economy in turmoil with markets as volatile as a tropical storm. What's more - because the US & UK governments have FAILED to in anyway regulate the derivative markets LAST WEEK the City recorded it's highest level of derivative trading EVER!

Something is fundamentally JUST WRONG with matters -

THIS is government OF the banks, BY the Banks and what's more FOR the Banks!

I would agree that things are in motion ,and there will be bad times ahead for many, really most, people. That said, I look at a bigger picture; the one we have been given, telling us that these times will come, and how to be assured that we are taken out beforehand. Yes, same old Biblical story. All that is happening fits the prophecies well, and for myself, personally, I can't wait. Means we go home! I do worry for those that don't listen, that don't believe, though.

By all means, prepare for the physical issues, but prepare for the eternal ones first.

Sadly, they are doing a wonderful job distracting us. A quote from Boondock Saints "the only problem with their plan is that its working". Will the people come to terms with this and realize that something is going to happen? I sadly doubt it...

I hate this!

I live in Orange County. I have purchased an AR-15 assault rifle and am currently acquiring armor and other survival necessities.

HOWEVER! Where I live, mobility depends heavily on the California Highway system which will most likely be a parking lot in the event of an emergency evacuation. My plan would be to head south to my family in San Diego.

If I do make it to San Diego, where would I go next? Should I just convince my sheep family to travel East into rural US? What would I do?

Side Note: The AR-15 was purchased primarily to protect me and my loved ones during transportation.

It's good to know that the post-Armageddon future will see lots of paranoid folks running around armed to the teeth (just to protect their families of course).

Whatever prospects exist for surviving the apocalypse, don't people ever stop and think for a moment that perhaps humanity's violent ways may be the ultimate cause of our undoing?

Those fortunate (or unfortunate?) enough to survive any such calamity may be better advised to think about ways rebuild a society based on genuine peace and understanding, rather than just shooting away at anything that moves simply because it COULD constitute a threat to us and our loved ones.

Just a thought.

Interesting thread BTW.

I really enjoyed your thread, and your point was taken seriously by me! However, I am concerned with the old timers like my father, whom have served this country and trust was implanted in them from day one of training.

I know I wanna be ready when the S*@t hits the fan, because I too believe its coming real soon! I just worry about my family and all the peps like my dad who don't.

If I had to guess Pred, I would say that you are a western Canadian and not an easterner. I would also assume that you live or grew up in a smaller town or community. I grew up with small town ideologies, and when I have children there will be no or little chance of them being raised in a city.
You seem to presume a lot which can have a down side, sometimes benefit of the doubt can help foresee sinister acts. I do admire your ability to give faith onto strangers though, it is something that society has lost from the horrific new stories. Though, the analogy of helping a fallen citizen portrays the majority of society now, most wouldn't help, from my experience anyways. I live in a town were the population is primarily aging seniors to the point we are facing difficulties in providing enough housing and care givers. Today's youth seem to have no problem barging in front of, or cutting off these seniors instead of respectfully letting them proceed first. With my upbringing I feel obligated to call out the youngsters by telling them to respect their elders. Usually this results in them disrespecting me, their elder.
I can't really get mad at the child or teen as it isn't really their fault for not knowing better. It is their parents for not raising their children and instead letting television programs and school do it for them. Only problem is now is this, you almost can't blame the parents. They are so enslaved in trying to provide the necessary basics for their family that they literally don't have the time.
If you think that when SHTF society will remain civilized, think again. Right now we are not in a SHTF scenario and we already have staggering amounts of theft and crime. If more people aren't able to supply the basics for their families what do you think they will resort to?
I am all for the prosperity of our societies and civilization just not with the manipulated self loathers. I for one would rather be a realist than a dreamer. It follows more the task at hand or living in the moment scenario, if I dream I am wealthy when I wake up it doesn't put food on the table.

What I am most worried about it how much WORSE will the "replacement" government be after everything goes to hell? They are obviously planning for something, and logic would suggest they would have even more power then before. We see that more power = more greed. That is a dangerous combination. In my opinion

Relax people....Nothing is going to happen.....the earth is not angry of us,gods are not to punish us,asteroids are not aimed at us and Armagedon is not about to happen ,at least not for now....And even if that happens we will manage to live through it.as humanity has probably done several times before......I am sure most of us help each other in times of need.and i know we can grow plants and raise animals if needed....its human instinct ,it all comes back to us naturally like running a bike.it will be fun for a change......so instead of just going insane and looking for a hole to hide or buying guns, lets focus on the real issues, like the economy, alternative fuels, debt reductions, world peace, cultural tolerence, and all that boring day to day REAL stuff......I know its difficult and not nearly as much fun as the dooms day acceptance theory!..but that's the way it is.............think about it...this is exactly what the elites of the world want you to feel like ,fear!......and they feed on that ....one of the items on their exclusive diet anyways...........so chill out ....you will be laughing at this, five years from now,and happy to have your little world while you trying to make the ends meet by winning in the rat race!....... cheers

Well, today on NPR they had a couple of guests discussing Iran. One guest mentioned that the Emirates and Saudis were acting as though bombing would be taking place within the next 6 or 8 months, out to a year. I couldn't follow the whole interview because I came in to it late and never heard their names, so I could only identify the two male and one female voices to get a general idea of where they stood on the issue. The male voice that made that claim was also the generic pro-Israel, anti-Iran, matter of fact war-hawk.

So, if you want to speculate at WWIII, have at it. They mentioned also issues with Russia selling weapons to Syria and how this, by proxy, puts Russia and the US at odds in any potential conflict. Just to be clear, while we all speculate on whether or not Iran **WANTS** nukes, we're putting roughly 5 nations in the mix with a combined force of 5000 to 6000 nukes into a tinderbox situation.

Frankly, I think that the people who run the nations of the world, especially ours, are so detached from reality that it scares me.

Well, your assumption of the way I would use my weapon could not be further from the truth.

I respect every human being I may come across. In the event of an evacuation, I expect mass panic and nearly zero planning.

For the most part I will be using my weapon as a gesture of protection rather than aggression. It is a tool to insure I am safely transported from A to destination B. I assure you and any other concerned person(s) that my weapon will be used in accordance with self-defense law.

In a time of panic, there will be mass looting and rioting. Your local law enforcement will be preoccupied with their loved ones. Remember, upholding the law is their JOB and not their destiny.

Prepare Yourself. Prepare your conscious. Prepare your health.

Western Canadian, yes, samll town or community? No, Calgary.

I just think that if all hell broke lose, things might be up in the air for a bit, but I think people would pull together before it got too bad. I think in a city it would be easier, as people live so close. It might be bad for the first little bit, but eventually, we will survive. That's what we are built for, that's why we are still on this planet, because we adapt.

Hunters would help, gardeners would help, people who knew how to can, sew, cook, would all be helpful and be willing to help others out.

Think of it this way, peple are selfish, yes, but people love to feel good, and their ability to teach and take of other would be to prevalent.

If you don't know something is going to happen before it is going to happen then you can't say that you know something isn't going to happen and have people believe you without reasoning.

However, if you know something is going to happen then you can say nothing is going to happen or you can say something is going to happen.

Either way, the knowledge of the individual in full view of the facts gives only the owner the power, to do with it what they wish - good or bad. If the owner has created the facts, does that make them fact?

Only by trusting no one but your innerself can you work out what's right from what is wrong.

take alook at a bigger picture,

sun is love which created mercury which is man and venus which is woman
man and women create life which is earth, life is given choice which is mars
we will always choose love which is jupiter (love is big) man finds his love and creats unity
think of saturns rings, curcles, 2 halfs make a whole, saturn is unity
with love and unity we will creat new life which is uranus (u r us)
all will be watched over by fait which is neptune
pluto is the danger witch is always ther but fait/neptune will keep that kind of danger away from us
comets is the danger which comes and gose and can exsist anywerer
but love and unity will protect us from them
solar eclips means fait/earths moon will perfectly sheild us from true love until we are ready

we are ready so make an effort to love your life stop fearing it
