Personally, I've notice people in the "know" are getting ready for something big coming our way.

I don't think it's a alien invasion. They've been here for a long time and could have taken us out in the blink of an eye long ago.

My guess if I were a betting person would be either something incoming big enough that when it hits the planet it's going to take out just about all life on the surface like last time or World War Three.

My money is on a incoming asteroid from space.

Flame away but dance as if nobody is watching you, love with all your heart, make peace with whomever you call God and be kind and know that we are eternal beings.

Now I'm not saying this is going to happen this year or next year.

BTW: The Scandinavian countries have deep underground bunkers for all their citizens vs. America that makes the common man pay for the 1% "haves and have mores" underground shelters.

All the planets are heating up, people are beginning to hear strange noises in the sky, we're having major earthquakes, volcanoes are going off, birds are dropping from the air, whales and dolphins are beaching themselves which means possibly something from "out there" is already beginning to mess with our magnetic field or axis. For it to do that it's got to be a big sucker.

I have a feeling a little tin can the size a rail car 40 ft deep isn't going to work folks............you would need something 1,000 ft deep inside a mountain with enough supplies, including heirloom seeds to last 1-2 generations. My grand daughter doesn't remember saying this but a few years back we were talking about when she grows up and she clearly stated to me, "Grandma, don't be sad, but the kids my age, we're not going to get to be adults." From the time I was a kid in the sixties, the govt/media/military industrial complex has been predicting disaster. "The Russians are going to nuke us, hide under your desk. Overpopulation in africa will crowd out whities by the 80's. The earth is out of oil by the 80's gas will be $10/gallon. The ozone hole is going to cause massive DNA mutations. Global cooling...Global warming...blah, blah frikkin blah.

That's the big picture. They've kept us distracted by maintaining a constant state of fear. The global financial collapse is merely the latest ploy in a long line of BS.

Here's the good news. It's about to come to an end. 2012 is the year the citizens wake up to the farce. The curtain is being pulled back like the Wizzard of Oz. Two stories I saw this weekend have left me convinced I am right. I would give links but I'm using my phone to post this and I can't figure it out.

The first story is David Wilcock's latest update on the impending collapse of the Federal Reserve. When I saw the photographs of the gold treasury notes and the chests they came in from the 20's and 30's, I knew intuitively the story is true.

The second story is the latest interview on Project Camelot dated January 20 where a whistle blower from Project Looking Glass said despite TPTB every attempt to cause WWIII, all timelines showed a global awakening shall occur by 12/21/12.

Don't feel bad for getting suckered. The worlds most powerful men using control of all the media, having financed much the university's research have conspired to suck you in. I'm not saying it won't get a little sketchy. TPTB will not leave quietly. But we must stop the fear. We must engage intelligently using all of our critical thinking skills to defeat the beast. When Shift of Ages on facebook re-posted Wandering Wolf's testimony on the 3 days of darkness, I felt a little uneasy in my chair.

My grandfather who is heading into his late 90's has been telling me since August of 2011, to prepare myself, that I'm going to see things that he won't be seeing, and that I needed to be strong.

Just to point out there is an inifinite amount of direction in which an asteroid can come from. there is only a limited amount of telescopes and radar tracking that will obviously not encompass the earth entirely. it is also obvious that you can only find it if you are looking in the right direction and are not obstructed by planets or the sun. therefore it is very easy for an asteroid to hit us without prior warning. even if an earth bound asteroid was spotted we certainly dont have much defensive space technology to do much about it (as yet or that we know about). i.e. Russia cant send a simple prob to a moon of mars, that has a regular orbit. how do you fire a bullet at a missile (my analogy) and hope to hit it 100%. also ICBMs are not designed to fly in space and it would need some kind of powerful space craft. i beleive the World Govs are just as vunerable as the rest of us. they are prepared for the worst and hoping for the best.

As rational a thread as I have seen in some time. 2013, 13 being the masonic number that it is will be followup to their 2001 new millenium ritual to enslave America. Us first then the rest follow suit. How I see it, America saw the end of the game some decades back and realized to be in position of power create debt that will never be paid off so who cares. Entwine all world economies so they all fall. When it happens there are enough underground shelters to protect all they deem worthy. Horde all the gold silver platinum so when everything sets back to zero(gotta love those Mayans) you come out on top once again, set the new rules, have underground infrastructure in place to harness internet 2. "peace" on Earth, slavery for you and me, if you survive.

Now I have a wood stove, lots of firewood, about a years supply of food and other things I keep just in case of any emergency... and I have machine guns so that when all those people I told to be prepare who didn't come looking for my stash

Iran invasion is inevitable, we will see gas prices, food prices double at least in the first days of the war. What happens after that is anyones guess. We don't have 40 U.S. bases surrounding Iran for nothing. It is the largest cluster of our forces anywhere and looking to send more from whats been said. Ohhhh, I hear ya. If it was an asteroid or something world killing like that, most likely if anyone survived it would be the very wealth who are well prepared through their wealth.
I can't afford groceries for the week, let alone a year stock pile. If I have to survive off the land I'd like a gun. Too bad guns are hundreds of dollars. At best, maybe I could afford some books on living off the land. I could buy some 50 cent seed packets, but how the hell am I going to learn to be a farmer? Lol. Bah. I'm screwed.

But, OP, something is afoot, indeed. Economic collapse at the very least and a worldwide monetary system instituted with the power elite in control... Given the (There's no such thing!!!) FEMA camps, I think They're expecting a lot of Us to survive. And They expect to be able to round Us up, else why have camps?

There will be a few that don't play nice in that scenario...but they will be quickly separated from the ones that want to help and the community.

Hah! Cool enlightening thread, however, what I am wondering is what this threat may be? I think of all of the biggest threats that are looming out there is the threat of economic mayhem that is on the way for the world. I do not know if there are any asteroid or alien invasion threads, although an alien invasion would be awesome, it would actually allow humans to unite as one and take out a common enemy. On another hand, the threat today is the governments of the world. If they are building underground bunkers, there is no way they would even survive a nuclear fallout because of the potency of the new weapons. These weapons would disintegrate underground bunkers.

An economic depression is what I think is the major threat.
