Showers and thunderstorms will likely develop early this evening along and/or east of the I-30/US-67 corridor, then quickly race northeast. This map shows the best-guess timing for when areas could be affected by thunderstorms. Areas in brown will have the least potential for thunderstorm development as a cold front surges east before organized thunderstorm development gets underway. Some scattered showers, and an isolated thunderstorm could still be seen. However, the best chances for thunderstorms and any severe weather will be east of the area shaded in brown.
