I hate this, I hate this.

On first of January our Government started to take more tax from gasoline and diesel. Gasoline tax rose 2 cents per litre, when diesel went over 10 cents more expensive. Now prices are almost same, but diesel users must pay separate tax every year.

Both gasoline and diesel price are now outrageous because weak Euro. I have to pay 1,67 €/L (8,144 $/Gallon). More than half comes from crazy tax rates. They are forcing us to move to bigger cities, since its too expensive to live in rural areas.

Thats ridiculous.
Our gas right now is about $1.40 a litre here in Canada, which is 1.10 euros roughly.

I know what you mean, gas is continuing to go up. And up. and up here.
Yet Canada produces enough oil for all us canadians to have cheap gas.

But no, We export it elsewhere for private profit, and we still end up paying more than our american counterparts. unsure of the gas prices there. Still under a $4(amer) a gallon. About 3.50 in most places. Thats 3.63 Canadian, per gallon, a gallon being around 4 litres (4.4), it works out to 0.86 cents a litre in canadian funds, about .83cents a litre for americans.

Looks like you guys got it good down there(america), lol. Please tell me you don't complain with that.

Currently here in the UK we're paying between £1.30 and £1.35 per litre (about $2.01 to $2.09 USD) depending on which station you go to and which area you're in which I think is extortionate, especially since when I first started driving 15 years ago I was paying only £0.55 ($0.85) per litre!

This makes it about £5.90 per gallon or $9.13 for the cheapest current price!!

[color=dodgerblue]$3.45/gallon here in northwest Ohio...

Compared to the prices in other parts of the world, I can't complain... but we can still barely afford it. We only go where we absolutely have to go these days...

$3.39 a gallon or about $1.01 a liter here in Wyoming!

Outragous is right..when I started driving gas was about $.80 cents a gallon!

So that is about a 400% increase in 30 years!

Wow...now I feel old!

I don't know if my math is correct...3.78 liters per gallon...$3.39 a gallon...so I think it should be more like $1.11 a liter...I don't know...somewhere around there!
