I'm really NOT afraid of Newt beating Obama. Well, I am, because I think Newt is really a bad person - as in totally self serving- much worse than Obama. I think he is very corrupt and I don't understand why people would want him over Romney, Paul, or even Perry.

Personally I'd like to see an Obama Paul race. Tyranny or Freedom. Known Liar or Possible Honesty like you've not seen in forever - Your choice USA, let's see what you want.

Isnt it funny how blatently biased they are? Whenever anything slanderous is mentioned about a repubic candidate or politician, they run the story 24/7 until everyone and their mom knows every detail.

However when there is something shady or questionable about a democrat.....silence.

Obama has so many things that they've refused to report on and simply swept under the rug, leaving us conspiracy theorists to look stupid when we bring it up because no one knows about them.

Even ol' Slick Willy Clinton had rape allegations, and they were barely even mentioned until he was already being impeached and they wouldnt do him any more harm.

Of COURSE he's the front runner. Republicans want POWER. They think Romney has the best chance to WIN. Therefore they'll support the person they think (not a bright bunch, mind) will get them in power again, so they can can have lower taxes, push their social agenda, etc.

If they SERIOUSLY cared about doing good, they'd have a different set of candidates. These guys are all about winning... even if it means putting Romney in the White House.

Perry is out. He has thrown his support to Newt. This changes things. But it does not change Newt, unfortunately for planet earth and peace loving peoples who live there.

I think somebody made a back door deal to try and get Newt into the WH while he is still young enough to run. There was probably some money exchanged to get Rick to step down and take his turn in the next cycle.

Dirty politics is what this is They did it to Palin,The did it to Cain this is all they do destroy and demogague.

It could be easily argued they did it to themselves with the other side capitalized on their stupidity.

Palin = Quit her only public office
Cain = Serial womanizer, possible predator (is not actually a conservative by this standard)
Gingrich = Serial womanizer (is not actually a conservative by this standard)
Romney = Ran Massachusetts as a moderate, did not seek re-election (is not actually a conservative by this standard)
Paul = Isolationist desires (a conservative)

My point is, these are questionable people that I wouldn't want as a neighbor (except Paul) let alone in charge of the nukes.
