Apparently these could be sounds from space, something to do with magnetic waves hitting the atmosphere then being converted into frequency. Space craft sometimes record the waves and they sound very similar www.youtube.com... Weird though.

I heard a low humming this morning here in North West Florida.

By the time I started to record it, it was soft and fading so the sound didn't record.

If I hear it again I will try to record it again.

To me, it sounded far away. Maybe underground drilling or something with the atmosphere would be my guess.

Upon further research, I found a video recorded by a fan at the game who states speaker/sound malfunction due to lightning strike.

That sounds like voices to be honest. Not sure if anything strange.

This one is clearly fake. The sound is clearly different quality than the video itself.

That is "EXACTLY" the sound I tried to record when I heard it last year.
Few people I think tried to get the sound from it. The "Exact" same..

This was debunked as being the stadium speakers a long time ago.

The Trumpets of Apocalypse would be heard around the Globe. So far most of these videos have been from USA only... I think this could be the Government preparing for a fake alien invasion with strange noises, HAARP, or some natural earth causes. Who knows... its 2012 I'm sure this won't be the last of strange things happening.

It sounds like wind, like the sound you'd hear if you blow over the top of an bottle.

Maybe there were some repairs being done that day. If that sounds unlikely, well, consider some of the other exorbitant claims.

You know something. This is my thinking. There is something in the bible about a nouse similar to a trumpet or trumbone noise being heard in the sky by all? Anyone know if this is in the bible?

I wasn't going to post anything, then I saw the post where the guy claims it was from lightning hitting the speakers.
I have heard that noise dozens of times in the last year or so, not sure when it started but it's been going on awhile.
The first post I saw was from Florida via a you tube video, I believe that video is also posted on ATS somewhere. More videos surfaced and they all had variations of the sound, the one I remember on ATS was from Kiev and I commented that it sounded like trumpets.
The video from Mexico that I saw here yesterday is the only one that seems different but that doesn't mean it's a hoax, it just means I'll reserve judgement for now.
My experience with the unusual appearance of the Moon and the backlash that followed my comments on it resulted in my reluctance to report such things in the future. As a result I have not spoken to anyone about the noises, surprisingly enough someone spoke to me about it first.
I played the Mexico video yesterday and my wife heard the noise which started a discussion about weird noises, she mentioned hearing a noise that sounded like jet planes or trains in the distance lasting a few minutes on numerous occasions, I found a few videos and we both agreed they were very similar to what we keep hearing.
The noise is real, it has been going on for quite a while and it seems to be spreading to all points on the globe.

I still think it is the viral campaign for Cloverfield 2

Hi there and thanks for the thread!

I have recently heard the noise, but not the noise currently being reports worldwide. I heard the very low pass frequncy type of sound, a deep roaring bass sound that lasted for a couple hours. I opened a thread on it, hoping to get some closure on the subject, but was left with more answers than when I started.

The new sounds being reported can be said to be similar. There seems to be a low pass roar as a type of 'white' noise in the background of the groaning, higher pitched sound that could be compared to the sound of a pressurized vessel submerged deep underwater and experiencing pressure warping (I made that up for lack of better description) - kinda like what may be heard when a ship sinks or when a submarine submerges.

I have thought about this a bit and I do not believe it is any form of viral marketing, though producing this sound may not be as hard as you might imagine at first look.

Remember when the World Cup was held in South Africa? Remember those crazy 'vuvuzelas'? This sound resembles that of the vuvuzela in my opinion.

I suppose that a group of people could get together with these instruments and send a camera man to a different location that can still hear the sounds. The group could blow the vuvuzelas and produce the sound they re looking for and even get some very shocked reactions from those unawre of their efforts.

It could also be produced by recording the sounds from the World Cup and then playing them back over a very powerful loudspeaker, like what you may find in a concert arena or night clubs.

I personally do not think that is the cause though. I just wanted to throw the idea out there and see what you all think about it as a possibility.

Whatever the noises are, we deserve to know, if there is an answer. If it is some new tech producing this noise, then we deserve to know, because, more than likely, we funded the research and development of this tech.

If it is something that is threatening our safety, then we deserve to know since we fund our respective governments and expect them to keep us safe or allow us to have information so that we can choose to be safe or choose to do nothing...

No visible reaction, but the commentators sure did react. They commented on the sound, and what could possibly be causing it.

In fact, I've only seen one video from the US - Colorado. The other main videos are from 1) Kiev, Ukraine 2) Conklin, Alberta, Canada 3) The Pas, Alberta, Canada 4) Costa Rica 5) UK 6) Winnepeg, Manitoba, Canada 7) Mexico 8) Denmark 9) Sweden

So, I haven't heard these noises in person yet, but many people on ATS claim they have.
Today I was out at my in-laws farm. My husband and I stepped outside to smoke a cig and all of the sudden I heard "the sound"! The rumbling mixed with the terrible sky screeching, war of the worlds tripod noise from the Kiev and Conklin videos! It was very loud and seemed to be coming from everywhere. For a moment I totally freaked! We went running around the side of the house only to see the train, about a 1/2 mile away, slowing to a stop at the grain silo in town. When the train grinded to a stop, so did the noise. I'm not trying to debunk. I just want to point out that everyone who claims to have heard the noise claims there are no train tracks or industry near. News flash - there are trains everywhere! It's almost impossible to ever be more than a mile from some tracks. My in-laws town has a population of less than 100 (no exaggeration) and yes, even a town that small has tracks. I really didn't think a train was capable of making these sounds - until today.
