Coincidence??????

Watch the quick video. This is really wild.

ATLANTA (WXIA) -- Just as 11Alive's DeMarco Morgan referred to the eternal flame at the tomb of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Atlanta on 'The Rundown at 10' Monday night, the flame went out.

Not to fear, the flame was back up and burning a short time later.

No conspiracy here

Great find OP, thanks for that.
This can be a coincidence, or it has a meaning.
Think a bout it, Dr. Martin Luther King, coming back on this specific moment just to make this gesture.
To tell you all, that there are more important things to come in the near future.

or could be that, telling us to get the f*ck out of our couches away from the TV and start doing better things for the future.

I don´t trust this one - just before the fire dies I think I can see some liquidlike substance "falling" onto it... somehow like water running over a glassy board an the hitting the fire. Would be a weird joke to play on Dr. King... maybe the water-like substance was the spirit of MLK himself being ashamed being remembered only once a year and after it is forgotten

The fire also reacts the same way a fire would react when hit by water (no joke... I´m good with fire) - I even miss smoke! If the fire was based on wood (which it probably is not) there should be smoke when the energy of burning just leaves like that. But probably it was gas.

Have you seen the episode of the Boondocks where MLK hadn't died from the assassination, but got sent into a coma, and woke up in the present day?

Coincidence or a sign of synchronicity. It may not mean anything or have any underlying purpose but it does demonstrate to me synchronicity.

There is an experiment where you take several LEDs and wire them up so that they randomly blink at different time intervals. Eventually every single LED will turn on at the same exact time. This is what could be considered a scientific demonstration of synchronicity.

Something strange there, you're right. It looks like it comes in from the right of the frame to me. Not water though...kinda looks unearthly.

A scientific demonstration of synchronicity? Of course they will eventually blink at the same time...and that's called coincidence.

Synchronicity, I would think, implies a connection that contains meaning.

Edit to Add: Yep, it's in the opening statement at wiki.

Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events that are apparently causally unrelated or unlikely to occur together by chance and that are observed to occur together in a meaningful manner. The concept of synchronicity was first described in this terminology by Carl Gustav Jung, a Swiss psychologist, in the 1920s.

Dangitt GUT, you made me go back and watch it several more times. OK, at the beginning, you can see the reporter standing right off from a cement pond like structure. It appears to be a wee bit windy, maybe the cause of the shaky camera right before it pans to the torch. I do see the reflection of what may be a light...maybe the lights used by the film crew, as it pans from right to left on the building behind the torch, right before it goes out.

Or, it's MLK's ghost making an appearance....

You're right, I noticed it too.
Maybe the spirit of Jesse Jackson with a wet shirt saying " The water came from over there"

The resolution is so poor you can't really make out what it is but it doesn't really look solid.

I'm going with the synchronicity explanation, either that or God has a strange sense of humor and is trying to send us a message.

No dangitt you, Des. I had to go back and watch again after what you said.

On further examination there is that camera 'break-up' in the form of an intermittent line of 'noise' right in line with the flame.

What then goes 'into' the flame looks almost like a reflection of the flames themselves along that same approximate noise line. I've been shooting video for a long time and I can't recall experiencing that, but...

I am proposing that coincidence is merely an illusion. Synchronicity is the real phenomena at work.
