Lost Charles Darwin fossils rediscovered in cabinet

A "treasure trove" of fossils - including some collected by Charles Darwin - has been re-discovered in an old cabinet.

The fossils, lost for some 165 years, were found by chance in the vaults of the British Geological Survey HQ near Keyworth, UK.

Looks pretty interesting, i mean if he came up with the theory of evolution all those years ago, without all of the tools and equipment we have today, surely these must be a good discovery


I did a search and couldnt find this posted anywhere else, and i just tried to post it a few mins ago and it mysteriously disappeared!!!!
i smell a conspiracy!!

I just read about this on msnbc. I can't beleive that (he stumbled upon the glass slides containing the fossils in an old wooden cabinet that had been shoved in a "gloomy corner" of the massive, drafty British Geological Survey). Seriously, 150 years a building that mankind has known about for god knows how long. It just stunning how something like this can go unnoticed. www.msnbc.msn.com...
