Tectonic plates moving, affecting the earth's magnetic field. A positive to negative move, or a magnetic reversal. Hmm, it can be, since i hear nothing in South Africa.

Unless the aliens are too scared to land in South Africa..

Oh they're too scared. They saw District 9 and how you guys treated those aliens. No alien in his right mind would land anywhere near South Africa.

That sound in Mexico reminded me of a train yard, I think it's a hoax. There is a factory next to some rail right down the road from where I live, it has some loading equipment that makes about that exact sound.

It really could be a number of things man made, it even sounds man made and I doubt there is any extraordinary explanation to it that goes any further that somebody pulling a fast one.

Maybe it's a hoax, maybe not. We shall wait and see. BTW who in his right mind would edit so many videos of this sound, and ohhh.... i forgot there is a legit video at a baseball game where even the announcers ask: What's with the noise ? and all of the people on the stadium heard it. Ok the rest are fake, let's say, but how can you fake something on live TV? I'm at university at the moment and don't have time to search for the video, but if you are into this thread you already seen it in the other topics.
Thank you

In one of the other threads, "aimlessly" says that they've heard it themselves last summer in Michigan. According to the profile, he's been on here almost a decade. There are others too.

I'm not saying they're certainly telling the truth. But this is more than calling a video a fake, you're calling users liars now too. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't.

It's not a question of being too stupid to see the facts now though, and saying it is, quite frankly, is insulting and dishonest. If you've solved it, and don't care, leave the thread. You don't have to say we're promoting ignorance for trying to solve what is, in reality, a quite entertaining puzzle to do that.

Sorry I'm not buying the hoax theory now. Too many people have heard the sound with their own ears. The sound has been heard all over the world. Some person is not going to travel the world making sounds that are vibrating houses and waking people from their sleep. The noise seems to also be originating from the sky.

If this was a hoax, it would be the most expensive and most elaborate hoax in history.

Yes, because uploading you tube videos is so expensive and elaborate.
The one thing this hoax is doing is proving what ATS is all about recently - promoting ignorance.

I'm referring, good sir, to those who have heard the sound and have been woken up by it. And as I mentioned, people even detecting vibrations. Yes, I know there isn't enough evidence other than hearsay and Youtube video's.

Don't be so quick to write off the phenomenon, we don't have enough evidence to toss it in the hoax bin either.

I personally believe there is a scientific explanation for it. As soon as it is PROVEN (with solid evidence) to be a hoax, I will at that time cease looking for possibilities.

You know, there are sooo, sooo may posts on this subject. I have read for hours on this. I think that the ones that last for a minute or two, or even a few, have so many possible explainations. But the ones that bother me and I think deserve more scrutiny are the ones that last for a prolonged period of time. Such as what I heard. I have heard this at least twice and possibly more and just discounted them. A low guttural sound which went on for a long time, possibly an hour or more. I could also feel it. These are the ones that caught my attention when reading. Each time I heard it, it was between 2 and 5 in the AM. Nothing in my house was on, no fridge, no nothing. And it seemed to come from everywhere. Went all over trying to find it, but it was nowhere and everywhere. Don't tell me I'm crazy, somethibng is happening and it is real!

I've been hearing talk about this all over the web but I thought it was just a bunch of hippie new agers so I never bothered to check it out. Well, back in the I'd say late fall me and my little girl heard that same sound. I won't mention what went though my head but we both were in amazement.

In reference to the Cloverfield movie - my uncle, who passed away recently, claimed that hollywood movies always had a bit of "truth" poised in them. That somehow the 'elites' like to give people a sneak peak, so-to-speak, of real things to come. And isn't it strange that the name: Operation Cloverleaf is tied to the aerial spraying of chemtrails that many suspect are designed for HAARP manipulations?

I hope you reply with that info... It seems like people don't take the time to read the thread or investigate beyond YouTube before they post hoax. It fills me with joy that there are thinkers, like you, left in the world.
Thank you!

It's called the power of suggestion and people on this site are the most vulnerable in the world to it. Some people are outright lying just to add fuel to the fire and others I'm sure "heard something" as you do sometimes when you're outside and just warp it to be the same as these videos because they want to be a part of the story. Suddenly every sound of construction or whatever else becomes "the mysterious sound heard round the world" because people on this site want to be part of the story and live in fantasy land where cloak alien spaceships are invading the world or whatever else.

As for "most expensive and elaborate hoax ever" rofl. Give me a break. Editing a video with any free or already purchased video editor that can add an audio track (all of them) and then uploading it to youtube costs 0 dollars. One guy could be doing all of this for all we know, most likely it's a forum like 4chan or something having a laugh. Total cost, 0 dollars. So expensive.

I understand what you're saying, but I think you may be over exaggerating a bit. Alot of ATSers are pro debunkers, however you cannot debunk something if you don't have the proof to back it up.

Edit: And once again- I'm not referring to just the video's, I'm referring to those who heard the sound with their own ears. You can't just go " lol that sound is fake and you're a stupid idiot for believing it lolol!" That's not really very helpful.

Since you're so determined to hoax bin this, go get SOLID evidence proving it's a hoax. Until then, stop repeating yourself.

There's no proof that this sound is not a hoax either, if you want to play that game. And there's a lot more proof that it is a hoax than not, given that the idiots used the same exact audio track complete with the same birds in several of the videos and it sounds just like sounds in some movies mentioned here... Guess it's just a 1 in 100 trillion coincidence that the same exact audio with the same timings occurred at different times in different parts of the world huh? Let's ignore occam's razor which tells us that the most likely case is it's just someone editing in the same audio to different videos...

People always jump on the bandwagon here, power of suggestion and mob mentality. I've seen it many times over the years. Someone claims "my cat is acting really weird, I think something big is about to happen" and you get a dozen people suddenly jump in "omg I just watched my pet and she's acting weird too!!". Of course nothing happens. Good ole ATS.

Also people are just lumping this in with the the rumbling/hum and claiming witnesses to that as witnesses to this, which is a completely different thing.

Here's what I think: The sounds that have been uploaded this month are most probably fake. However, the rumbling/roaring sounds from 2011 are real.

With that said, I don't think it's from outer space considering sound can't travel in outer space without a medium ( like air) to travel through.

I am starting to think the real phenomena is the 'buzzing' 'humming' and or 'pulsating' sound from the sky. The Godzilla noises are probably all fake or just some construction going on.

There are a several fakes going on and all it takes is a good listen with your ears. The Kiev Sounds are being used in other videos now.

For crying out loud, I'm not playing a game. Until we get a sound engineer to analyze the noises, we can't prove anything one way or the other.

We do know that this alleged noise seems to upset birds and animals, and in a couple of the video's you're speaking of birds were heard chirping. The exact same birds? PROVE IT!

its quite simply under us or above us... thats the only solid thing we can say about this "noise", it sounds like something huge like a giant ass whale or a dragon LOL
