Hey macman, what does that say under your avitar " options are nice to have"?
I really don't think you believe that.
Anyone ever tell you , you would make a great cop ?
Yah, I can see you now in a black jump suit in riot gear smashing heads with your baton smiling and drooling as you feed your hunger for war.
You painted yourself into this corner.

In the future people will never kills others, it will seem odd and sick. We, as a species, will study the past and find "wars" with one another strange and barbaric, like a caveman.

Evidently Andew Jackson's enemies weren't only the British, but indians who opposed the encroaching white man. Hence the battle of the red sticks.
White man kills anyone he wants and who doesn't agree with his agenda.
Disgusting isn't even an adequate word that covers it.
The war mongering by the candidates is truly frightening.

Regret in taking the life of someone that means to harm you is not in my wheel house.
Nor remorse for that person(s) either.
Would I find joy in revenge?
Yeah, I guess to an extent.
Maybe walk through life in not wanting to harm others.
In this sense, one is defense, the other is offense.
Would I exact revenge to anyone that hurt my family?
You bet'cha. Without a second thought.
The issue is not the killing of the enemy, it is finding exuberance in the thought of and action of killing another person, be it enemy of not. Even if one has directly harmed you or a loved one, one might get satisfaction at "revenge" and in killing, but to enjoy the process of killing is..well...
To find ]joy in and to become joyful because of the killing of a human, even if in war, is not ordinary. It's borderline psychopathy.
A nation rallying behind the killing of people, even in war, is not healthy for the state. It's barbaric.
The soldier with a sigh reluctantly recounting how he killed the enemy
Vs.
The soldier bragging with laughter how he shredded a bunch of those folks, as bullets ripped them apart.
Entirely different mental health issue.

You would think our fellow Americans would be weary of war and just tired after better than a decade of it. Yet here we are...cheering for another one while still fighting the first one from clear back at the start of the nightmare. When does it end? Will my kids child know America at peace?

Human beings will always let others kill each other. We will NEVER respect life. Why?
There is no God punishing evil. Therefor, there can be no God.
The UN and World Court is not even stopping evil. They're ganged together to get the last of the oil. Kill who needs to be killed to get it.

By the way, I must have missed the declaration of war. Which war is it you are talking about?

If there is a declaration of war, you identify your enemies and you KILL THEM. Wars have been happening for thousands of years. Are you too naïve to realize that killing is the objective of war?
Why is this video controversial? The audience responded in approval. Why? Because what Newt said was factually accurate. So what?

War begets war. Peace begets peace.
Someone has to be the bigger man and get the peace ball rolling. Be a leader, show the peaceful way, no matter how hard it may be. And it will be HARD. SO much harder than having a little war. War is the easy way.
Otherwise we are stagnating.
