If Romney wins the nomination, and the Republican Party realizes they need to capture Paul's supporters, they'd have to offer him the VP spot. Are the 2 campaigns already thinking that? I mean they have been pulling punches towards each other somewhat.

Maybe he would be a productive VP? But more likely Mitt would send him on the Ticker-Tape tour to be out of his hair.

The way the GOP treats Ron Paul lets me know how corrupt they are. They want who they want and to heck with being fair or what the people want.

I'm not transferable. In fact, I'd say that I've went from not really liking the other candidates, to LOATHING the GOP during this campaign season. I am NOT TRANSFERABLE.

how much do you want to bed they had paid supporters there to cheer for war and boo RP. what idiot in his right mind cheers for war?? i mean seriously you would have to be a brain dead sociopath to want to go and kill people.

Serious Americans listen up. everyday is a slap in your face as they laugh at your flaccidity and impotence. They laugh at you because they know you dont have the balls to stand up them. Why else would they sham up such an obvious farce as this debate. What is it going to take for you people to wake up and start a revolution?? Obama winning another term is going to be too late. You need to act now before its too late.

That is exactly what I thought when I heard them cheer for war and boo when Ron Paul responded. When Ron Paul ran back in 2008, whenever he spoke about ending the wars he got a standing ovation, every time. So either people have drastically changed their views or they were paid to cheer/boo. At least that's how it seemed to me.

I would of like them to ask Romney about Mormonism and how they believe that the end time will begin when we elect the first Mormon president.

Anyone else think thats a valid question ?

Thanks Thread Mates...for another debate...

This one made me so sad the hear so much hate, and war lust from a supposedly intelligent audience. I felt like I was at the Roman Colosseum, watching gladiators hack each other to pieces for the entertainment of the crowd.

I have a heavy heart for the future of my Country....

In my opinion, this debate was....so-so. It started out pretty strong, especially with all the attacks against Romney. I think Gingrich, Santorum, and Perry did better than expected.

Romney took some hits tonight. My favorite was when Santorum called him out for avoiding the question in the beginning of the debate. Im not sure how much these attacks will affect his numbers though.

As a Paul supporter, I think he did very good. But when he was asked about the Bin Laden raid, the audience was very torn during that part. I dont think it will hurt his current support (Obviously I still support Paul) , but Im not sure how well it will go over with other Republican voters in SC

To be honest
Not one of Ron Paul's best presentations

The debate was 2 hours long. Ron Paul was asked 2 questions, and cut short when he could talk. It's a little unfair to say that this was not one of his best presentations when he was only allowed 10 minutes to speak, maybe.

The audience.

Christians cheering for WAR. Shame on you! The Christians of SC are a shameful example of disdain for my Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.

I'm not much of a religious person myself, but I wholly agree with you. That was a horrifying display.

I really can't get around that audience and their responses. Perhaps it was heavily edited, but I was disgusted by what I saw and heard. I really hope that any international viewers do not leave with the impression that those people represent ordinary Americans. I am deeply embarrassed by the way they were acting.

Harris and the 3 grumpy old guys on the .com show didn't beat up Paul as bad as the last time. Harris wasn't the host last time of course. She's much much cuter than the last guy too

Yes, Ron Paul stumbled on foreign policy tonite. I was starting to seriously consider him but now I cannot. Romney did better than last time but IMHO, only Gingrich can beat Obama on stage. I don't care about Gingrich's past. If this country elects a President who has no history and has a questionable qualifications we can forgive Newt's past transgressions. Let's face it, somebody who doesn't have a little dirt in his past has never done anything worthwhile.

I am so pissed off right now. I am DISGUSTED by those who cheered war and booed Ron Paul's suggestion to follow the golden rule. What is WRONG with these people???!!! I don't want to kill people! I don't want to see thousands of soldiers dying because some moron hates Muslims, willing to kill them over SUSPICION alone!!! What is happening to this country??? Who are these people and how DARE they call themselves Christians or the followers of Christ??? Sad day folks.... sad day when peace gets booed.
