It's a torrent site that has up to date movies, apps, music etc
Just google Demonoid and you will see it, I have been in it for years and it's great as members can leave a message saying whether the quality etc is good or bad and downloads are quick as well....

Well this is 1 thing i was certain i would never see posted on ATS, oh well, you live and learn. I think if anyone is into piracy, this is not really the place to be pushing it i.m.h.o.

I know you are trying to be helpful, but really anyone that wants this stuff will have found it via other mediums.

Cool. Thanks for letting us all know.

As to piracy....I guess it's how you use it. Torrents can be a great resource for data on a particular subject(if it's reasonably popular).

What you call "piracy" is the only source of entertainment in the less rich parts of the world.
On the other hand, it is mostly people from richer countries that put up the torrents from their own catch which they already paid for.

So torrent sites like this are serv ing some nice global justice by a voluntary contribution of philanthropic members. What is more, everything is already paid for by someone who can pay for it.

It is just that industry wants to collect even more and more money for the same thing.

Calling it "piracy" is misguided - the next step in that misguided direction is SOPA etc.

Jumping to say the site is just "piracy" is a little over board. There are a lot of thing posted which are free to share and can be downloaded from other websites. Like someone else pointed out this can be had as a great resource to find information about a specific subject.

Another thing is, Demonoid is a super-trustworthy site. Anything you get through them is 100% working, no fake torrents, no automatic advertising bull in the torrents as a precondition to opening a file - that sort of thing is taken down immediately. Also if no one seeds for a long time it is discontinued. They are also concerned about possible restrictions of the Net and have a tolerable amount of advertising. have had a maximally satisfying experience with Demonoid for years now. (I entered free with a similar open week policy).

What about all the adverts for someone called 'Ron Paul' which is everywhere here and means nothing to the rest of us. Is that not advertising?

I've been registered for quite some time at demonoid, I wonder does anyone remember/miss suprnova? The pirate bay is ok, but I trust demonoid, less chance of getting a virus.

I use to have membership to demonoid 3 years ago before I lost my username and pass including the same for my old email on that account, sucks because demonoid was a really good source for certain torrents.

It sucks to when you said they are now accepting registration............I just went and poof they're not accepting new accounts haha. Oh well off to download from non registration places.

If you look at the date the OP posted this it was a month ago. Demonoid doesn't have open registration for that long, sometimes it can be open for a few hours to a few days. But they do it quite a lot. Chances are if you go to the site everyday you will get in within a week or two.
