Long time lurker!

Finally took the plunge and registered (yay me!). Not sure how much I can contribute in terms of knowledge but I am a willing student. I live in Clydesdale, Scotland (Lanark to be precise). I live in a very rural area (on a night like tonight....clear sky and very cold you could swear you could see the edge of the solar system...very very pretty!) and have many a UFO story that I cant wait to learn more about (debunked or not!). I look forward to getting to know everyone a bit better!

Welcome to ATS!

Questions are good, means you want to learn.

It is the answers that you may get that you will have to sift through.

I'll tell you something Destiny, Our magical area is ruined by lanterns! Even the farmers (EI-EI-O!) hate them as it frightens the livestock and such....eh gaaads the stories I could tell about those hellish things!

Thanks for the welcome and hope I can provide a more meaningful thread in the future (with pics

Welcome to ATS Louise !

I've been to Clydebank many times. Two years running I was involved in a community project for schools in the town hall. This one afternoon me and a few members of the cast decided to check out the old swimming baths, which apparently closed in the 60s. We went into the basement which was dark with no electricity and I swear we heard a childs laughter. Needless to say we ran back out pretty spooked with excitement haha! Anyway, later on the old security guard told us not to go in the swimming pool area as it was out of bounds and derelict. We then started chatting to him abut the place and its history and then out of the blue, without knowing we were in there, he said a little boy died in the baths years ago! Our faces just dropped.

I also went go karting in clydebank. But that story isn't as interesting.

Have fun!

I will def tell them....when I have pictures of course

I love living in such a rural area...I hate the fact I have only a 2mp camera on my phone :/ I can take a picture of something close in daylight but it unfortunately always looks like an alien
Making plans to borrow better equipment (pardon the pun)
