I am a noob....so dont know how to u2u...
I would be interested in possibly doing something involving my cats (i have a nikon d100 SLR).....so i could maybe send a slew of pics....you coul even combine them with one of ur photos...u would have total creative control...i would only want to include my cats...

1. Roger (named for roger davis in rent--both r blond hair/blue eyes--we go to ny about every 3rd month to see shows and his character is one of my faves)
2. Roxie Hart (named for chicago character of same name who wears tuxedo lingerie and roxie is a tuxedo cat)..
3. Sadie (named for a beatles song...we hadnt discovered our obsession with broadway 10 yrs ago)..

Sorry for all the minutiae but i really want this to reflect our 2 loves....broadway(NY) and our cats
I am interested in giving it to my wife for our 10year anniversary in may...we LOVE our cats and i adore my wife

And yes, we are total dorks....

Your passive aggressive behavior in another thread caught my attention : )..so I looked at your profile.

Nice work for someone missing an important chromosome.

All in fun.

Nope. I live in Houston, not far from Johnson Space Center.
If interested, send a request over U2U and I'll give you link to my web site where more work can be seen.
I can't post link here because of T & C and what not.

The graphics are incredibly poor. I've seen some bad stuff on deviant art but nothing that comes close to this.

It blows my mind why you would even consider posting them.

You show the world, talk the talk, and pat yourself on the back. Amazing. Please develop some skills, set the bar higher, learn from others... then again, you seem opposed to that... which explains why you shamelessly posted this in the first place.

Thank you for your criticism.
The income I derive working with models, and non-model clients doing this type of work, as well as conventional photography, however, speaks of the lack of validity in your opinion.

I also freely and openly invite you to troll your worst on any and every blog and social network outlet available to you. Please.
It seems every time trolls open up their inflammatory pie holes with outrageously horrible criticisms, I get new clients that have seen their posts, and feel contrary.
My wallet says, "Troll away little troll. You make me $".

Haters gonna hate, and Haters will make you teh famous. Thus, thank you, and thank you in advance as well. Flame on little boy Johnny torch.

We would, by the way, simply lurv to see your own work since you're so obviously superior to my own poor skills, but, I'm doubtful you're up to that task.
You talk the talk, but, let's see you walk the walk.

Edit: Oh, wait. I FOUND some of your work: What SteveR 'thinks' is music

Yep, your opinion is seriously lacking in validity. Please go away to bang on your little Casio-matic, preferrably very far away from where anyone might accidentally hear that awful noise, and let the real artists get about their business.

Perhaps you're right. I would be willing to reconsider my position, if you posted some of your nude buck rogers rocket girls in their full cutting edge CGI glory. Perhaps then you can reassure me they weren't taken from the Windows 95 3D demonstration, with the faces of inbred shethings crudely cut and paste into place. With ample blurring naturally.

No thanks. I have no requirement for your approval.. Further, I'm well aware the action posting a nude here would result.

It is indeed quite funny, your position, now I know where you're coming from.
I've got one or two postings in fairly short succession in the member art forum. You, not only posted once, but several other times over how long? It's so very sad seeing it took you as long at it did to realize what a total embarrassment your contribution to and interpretation of what you think music is, is enough such that you finally stopped.
Wait, did your music start getting moved into the jokes and humor section by mods?

Then again, I suspect the sad little Casio-matic you were using was so miserable with your use of it, it achieved spontaneous sentience expressly for the purpose of and enough such to commit suicide.

Poor child. Not everyone gets to be an Astronaut, or an Artist. You keep asking people if they'd like to super size their fries, or give them a choice between paper or plastic. It'll be okay. There's worse lots in life.

Meanwhile, regardless your opinion, I'll keep doing business without your approval. So long as my client base keeps me happy, and I keep them happy such they give referrals resulting in new clients, it doesn't matter what you think. As said before, please, go blog about me or something. I've done some decent business getting referral from trolls.

Does your client base happen to be blind people?

Is it possible they are only really interested in the nudes you shoot, for reasons you know but aren't willing to admit?

In effect, you are a glorified pornographer photo-shopping the explicit parts of poor young women who trusted you in good faith.

At least do them a favor and learn how to use graphics programs.

About the music - I am thoroughly pleased you bumped the threads. The music is used in professional retail productions, I can you tell right now they would laugh at your rocket girl art in a professional environment. As for my graphics, it places well in competition. photoshopcontest.com... You should join you may learn something, but I guess from how you advertise yourself and the thread, you are the pro and don't need to learn anything. Thanks again for the bump, judging by your strange and desperate attacks I must have hit a sore nerve, eh?

Keep it up rocket dude and try to learn some humility.

You are of course entitled to your opinion. You may, however need to work on your interpersonal skills on how those opinions are expressed.
As to bumping, thanks to you too. Just sharing the 'love'.

In regards to my clientele, there are of course people that purchase public work, but, the majority of the work is contracted by every day people, for themselves, of themselves. This ranges from conventional photography, portrait, glamour, lifestyle, maternity, down the line to events like weddings, quinceanera and then also extending into the more imaginative application of Photoshop.

As far as people trusting me in good faith, they're well aware of my work before a single shutter release, but, your tainted self important opinionated ego is too bloated to see that other people have preferences and likes counter to what you think or feel.
Further, Models & Photographers on sites like MM, MB OMP, and other such will contract with me for retouch, and/or in the case of models for a photo shoot with expectation and enjoyment for ridiculous, silly, colorful, fantasy, science fiction, and surreal compositions.
You can doubt that too if you like.

I don't need your approval or validation for continued business. I am, of course, always working to improve, but, I'm sure a trolling reply from you would be similar to 'could have fooled me'.
Also, as to your link, I don't require the validation of winning some online contest for twisting the Eiffel Tower into a corkscrew. Obviously such validation is important to you, otherwise you wouldn't need an online community to 'vote' on your work. Are you really that pathetic?

Had you shown more tact with constructive criticism, as opposed to your rude attacks, this would have gone differently. Then again, I'm sure your provocation was intentional. Shame on you.
You are so sad, so very very sad.

We are really at cross-purposes. I surround myself with peers in the industry and I make an effort to learn from them all without pushing my own work for egotistical or reassurance purposes. You can see the major differences in the way we write our threads and advertise our work, not that much of mine is on here at all. You obviously feel your work is so good that it deserves to be linked to in every post you make, with the words "ART!". You advertise yourself as a "Photographer Artist Illustrator". You go on to claim how professional your work is, while knocking others with the most silly put downs I have ever read, even going so far as to search out old threads just to knock them, because you felt so bruised that I wouldn't line up with the others to call your work "the best". The fact you would seek out retribution for not getting a compliment is childish. Your work is not the best, it is barely amateur, that is not my opinion it is the truth. The fact you advertise it with such a grandiose bombastic attitude is just laughable to me, hence the post. I'm sure you'll get many pats on the head in the future, which unfortunately just encourages you even more. Still, if it sells, who am I to say anything. I should of just made a charitable comment and moved on but I would rather tell you than laugh behind your back.

There's a difference between constructive criticism and bullish trolling.
Constructive criticism is more than welcome.

For instance:
- Your use of masking in this piece needs more attention.
-It's very interesting that every piece you've shown is a stitch project where you've stitched together 12 different photos of the same model from the unusable shots of that photo shoot, but I think this Frankenstein approach didn't work so well on this piece or, if you used a different 'part X' the composition would go over better.
-I can see where you've used transform warp here and think the perspective is off, or you could had a more effective time using puppet warp.
-The pose in this piece looks awkward, is there a reason you chose that pose and look for this piece?
-I see what you were trying to do here, but, I think you should pay closer attention to balancing DPI density between all the parts of your composite works because I see grain/pixelation/differences between layers/composite pieces that draw attention away from the whole.

You 'surround' yourself with 'peers', while I cater to paying clients.
Rhetorical question; how many awards have you 'won' for your work? At what cost and to what benefit?
Now compare that to, What real world places on the planet (other than your own, friends, or family's homes) is your work on public display or exhibit?

I'm much happier with having my work on display, making sales, and catering to client requests.
Not everyone has your taste or preferences. If they did, then, I wouldn't have the client base I do.
As said before, I don't need your approval, permission, applause, adoration, interest of respect to continue doing business.

If the spirit of your initial post was meant to be constructive, then, the thought is appreciated, and your concern is noted, but, your delivery is woefully lacking. I'd recommend working on your people skills with emphasis on a friendlier approach.
That was constructive criticism if you didn't get that.

Your chastisement of my utterly horrible worst skills ever on the planet has been noted. I hope you feel better now that you've given me a firm thrashing. You sure told me. The world is certainly a much better place now that you've set that whole mess straight. You may have even postponed or averted the apocalypse. Go have yourself an ice cream.

Oh yes, and thanks for yet another bump. Have you blogged about me yet? Please do. I've a working tally and discounted rates for people referred to me by trolls.
I've been considering shooting off a whole different branch of stylistic work specifically for the purpose of attracting the attentive vitriol of trolls. Salmon Rushdie made quite a killing from the infamy brought on by militant Islam putting a bounty on his head. Many others have less life-threatening methodologies for cashing in on negative attention.
Haters will make you famous.

I would of tended the other way, and have done many times, if I thought you were remotely interested in pointers. I have also complimented many on their superb work and effort without feeling the need to offer any pointers because they were simply much better than me. You strike me as very different from other artists, the difference is not in your vision but in your attitude. Someone who claims to be a professional photographer, artist and illustrator, bla bla giving us lucky ATSers a sneak peak of his "ART!" which turns out to be amateurish at best is not interested in pointers, they are either looking for an ego boost or profit. Unlike the others I don't feel compelled to pass on nice words for the sake of being nice. You were in such a bubble that my post was totally unexpected. It is sad you felt so bruised that a full scale, but ultimately wild and fruitless, counterattack was necessary to deal with me.

My speculation is if you were interested in constructive criticism, you would of sought it elsewhere many times by now, people would of challenged you to do better, and you would have developed better skills and some humility as a result. It's sad that you prefer to live in a bubble. You are completely unused to criticism, and what I said was quite light. I know some that would of ripped you to shreds for even posting this. Try putting your photography on dpreview or expand your PS skills on worth1000. But then again this is ATS, not a graphic design or photography forum so I guess you can post with impunity. I like your vision but I find your execution not really commensurate with your words and self-representation. I will say again, unlike you, I never represented myself to be great. I simply don't have the problem that you have, and that is what I 'trolled'.

If you make some money with it then there is no reason to even respond to me in the first place, right?
Sex sells and I reckon the nudity aspect is the mainstay of your sales. If you want to get better then lose the attitude, but whatever.

You keep coming back.
And to think all the effort you've extended in attempting to shrink me with a psychoanalysis of intention, motivation, raison d 'etre, could have all been avoided had you just extended some reasonable constructive criticism.
You've certainly had enough time for it.

The workshops I attend have some beautifully harsh criticism. This might be a huge surprise to you, but, I actually thrive on constructive criticism. How else can one improve otherwise? Yet, you're some waddling monstrosity of a mental juggernaut capable of snapping off a S,Holmes perfect profile down to the color of my toenail polish, because you saw a few examples of a certain type of work I do. You continue to makes assumption, after assumption.
Have you looked at my books/finances to see what pieces sell, or what particular type of post production work most clients prefer?
You've got me pegged as a pornographer, with everything centered around naked people. I can see how much of a Freudian influence there is working here. How often do you have dreams about your mother?
You should really subscribe more to Maslow, Jung, and Brown.

Do you know for a fact in what area, and kinds of works I do the most business? You do realize there's several different branches to what I do? Could it very well be possible you've been entirely too obnoxious, and should really be feeling quite ashamed of yourself?

You keep going back, and mentioning again and again, revisiting the one time I posted on a few examples of your work, sharing the 'love', and reverse pinging your personal attacks as if it's high proof and closing argument to the jury to justify your wild fantasies about me.
I did that once to stir up your ant bed, and out of curiosity to see where your bully attitude comes from.
Granted, I could have dug deeper, possibly stretched out beyond ATS, applied myself until I found some graphical evidence to compare as you've certainly enough material laying about should any want to do a stalk, but, alas, as self important inflated as you might think you are, you really are not all that important. You're actually pretty pathetic.
My opinion of your music is true. I didn't even have to try to dislike it. It really is quite very poor without the vaguest hint of clever application to it. I then see you're trolling other artists. Yup. It's just so very sad that you feel you have any justification for saying anything negative about anyone.
The only feelings you've stirred in me are curiosity and amusement. I've been laughing at you.
You think your the first troll? You think you're the last?
No.
You've been entertaining.

The only thing I do give you is, for a troll, you really are quite eloquent. Kudos to you on that. Your music is rubbish. Your argument and logic is rubbish. Most everything you've presented in your case is rubbish. You've yet to example any relevant graphic work of your own for comparison and reference, especially seeing as how you and everything about you is so much more superior the very shock and awe of it would have probably shut me up by now.
You do seem, however, to at least marginally know a thing or two about conjugation.
Thus, cheers. You can spell. That's almost a noteworthy accomplishment these days it would seem.

Nice work! I generally like most tasteful erotica and the female form, and I'm comfortable with that a lot of folks don't like this kind of art. My own paintings make women uncomfortable until they get to know me

Style is subjective, so if they don't like ya screw em I say (I sometimes use it as fuel to want to do even better, but thats just natural)

@ SteveR:
Yawn.
I go out of state, shoot a wedding, come back, and you've yet to give me, or anyone here the slightest bit of representative work form your own self to show us just how L33T you are.
Then again, I suspect you're just like one of those guys on here, or in the UFO circuit that claims they know how to build an actual FTL UFO with available technologies, all DYI, but, at the same time, not one of these guys can produce even a working RC scale model.
All you can do is post these silly posters.
Yawn. Yawn. Yawn.
Troll. Troll. Troll.
Yawn. Yawn. Yawn.

Whatever the case, no matter what you or anyone, or even everyone on the planet thinks, I like and enjoy my work. If it's the second to the worst stuff on the planet, cool. If it's the absolute worst, even better.
No matter what you, or anyone says, I have, will, and am enjoying what I do.
Bonus; it would seem I'm not the only one, because people give me $ for it.

With all that yawning. I'm taking a nap.

@ Aliquandro:
Thank you. Your encouragement is appreciated. It's no worries. Trolls come and go. I only 'fed' this troll because it was so hilarious. Art, in any form is entirely subjective. I still don't like Jackson Pollock or Mark Rothko, no matter how many buckets of ducats their work pulls. As said above, it really doesn't matter how, or how many people don't like your work or even vociferously defame it. Haters gonna hate. So long as your work keeps you happy, who cares what anyone else thinks? If someone pays you for it, hey, bonus.
