Yup; the fact that this endorsement ISN'T all over the MSM is the biggest news. It clearly shows how corrupt the establishment MSM is. We almost to the point that our media is state run.

No it's business run, like our government, there is no state.

"To get an endorsement from someone like Tom Davis is a big deal," said former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, who announced a White House bid in June. "It would speak volumes to folks and make them take notice and give us a look."

Lets see the media downplay this endorsement... and if any of them do... remember this article!

I don't think the media, or the public, will pay much attention. I think any endorsement from local representitives will be good for Paul and the other candidates, but they won't make much of a difference. Tom Davis is one of 24 South Carolina Republican district senators. The other senators are still either undecided or have gone to endorse other candidates, so atleast one endorsement is expected for Paul. It doesn't help that Nikki Haley already endorsed Mitt Romney as well.

This endorsement will help Paul's campaign without a doubt, but it will not be sufficient to make much a difference in my opinion.

Official Press Release From Senator Davis:

“It’s easy to campaign on lower taxes, less spending and fewer regulations – it’s another thing entirely to stand up for these limited government principles when the entire Washington establishment is aligned against you. Yet for more than three decades Ron Paul has cast thousands of lonely votes in our nation’s capital based on the constitutional principles that this country was founded on – and that the Republican Party has promised to protect. Yet while generations of politicians – including far too many Republicans – were losing their way or caving to the status quo, Ron Paul was standing as a Tea Party of one against a towering wave of red ink.”

Yea, shock and awe to the trolls who can't believe real people are awakening to our corrupt government while said trolls stay asleep and in fear.

Clearly people are waking up when Paul finished 3rd in Iowa...

Just exactly who would you vote for? I'm not a supporter of anyone. The fact that you bash Paul makes me wonder who you would favor. And why? Please tell us.

Im worried that this was announced on football sunday when most americans at home and outside are tuned to the games. This makes me mad that they would rather watch football rather than his speech

Sorry bud. I love Ron Paul but I also bleed Giants Blue and couldn't miss that game.

I was flippin around the channels at half-time though and all I saw was Santorum! Guess the Black-Out continues!

3rd in Iowa, 2nd in New Hampshire, and now he's surging in South Carolina. The other candidates aren't even on the ballot in several states. It's a two man race between Ron Paul and Mitt Romney. The people have the chance to choose between pro-establishment and anti-establishment, anti-constitution and pro-constitution, war or peace, liberty or tyranny. Let's hope they choose wisely.

According to CNN Romney is going to win SC and everyone else is done. I'm sure something will come up where a bunch of Ron Paul votes didn't count. Those votes need to be watched like a hawk and every last one verified.

Figured as much. His comments would be better served on salon or the likes of, even though those sites are fading away. Politico has apparently lost many viewers and advertisers.
