EDIT: Upon further review, and looking at Stellarium again, the "UFO" position as above is actually just Jupiter. Check the position in Stellarium, and match against the photo. They are identical...
The vehicle was moving during both snapshots, i already made it clear that the orb turned into the cylinder shaped object, the orb would have been stretched too no?

the op says the moon was betwen the object and the horizon, which would make the obect in the post above most likely be the photographed object, if the object photographed is jupiter it would be fair to assume that the last part about it shooting off was made up. rubbish hoax?

The object was in the form of a ball at first, after about 6 seconds it pickup speed and sort of flattened out and moved forward at an angle if that makes sense. After about 18 seconds it vanished, it didnt seem to jump though, just seemed to become invisible.

It wasnt the moon, the object was far below the moon, and the moon was much much larger

I was just questioning this, since in the second photo it seems that Jupiter is centered in the image. If the object was between the moon and the horizon, I would have expected the image to have shown the moon higher in the image, and more of the horizon (or in this case, the Rincons).

I'm sure that most of you are terrified at the possibility of this actually bieng something, i understand your skepticism, i too am a skeptic, part of the reason why i've stayed away from ats, i can assure you that these photos are NOT of the moon, for i have seen the moon thousands of times in my life, and i could see the moon high in my peripherals as i took this. I didnt photograph the moon and jupiter, both images are of the same object in different forms. The vehicle i was in was moving at the same speed as both shots were taken, so why would the "moon" be whole in one and stretched in the other. I dont see how something so tiny in comparison to the moon could be mistaken for it, lets be serious here, nobody on the planet has never seen the moon this tiny because it never gets far enough to appear that way.

I think that a little more important than the picture is the eye witness account. The OP says that he saw a moving object in the sky and he tried to snap a picture of it with his camera phone, not a professional camera nor photographer. The photo is something secondary, done in an attempt to capture the object's image.
Well done. Don't know what it is or what it could've been from the story, but it is interesting. Nice try at trying to capture an image of the object.
