One of my favorite movies of all time, Your right we do need brave leaders with integrity. I'm afraid we wont find one in Washington. Or if we get the chance to follow the route of peace I'd say Paul is our best bet because he can't be bought.

I live in a specific place, i have specific hobbies and a certain type of personality moulded by my environment at any one given time. I've got mixed feelings about Government activities like this. There should be agency monitoring of activity on the internet, just as they should be paying attention to books magazines and newspapers. That's just part of keeping abreast of what's going on. I'm more concerned when there are attempts (sanctioned or otherwise) to control or influence the flow of information.
