Iran's Flying Saucer Downed U.S. Drone, Engineer Claims

www.wired.com

Late last month, Iran put on display what it insisted was a captured American stealth drone. At the time, Tehran claimed it brought down the RQ-170 with a sophisticated electronic attack. Nonsense, says one Iranian engineer who claims to have inside knowledge of the drone-nab. The Islamic Republic used force fields and flying saucers to subdue and capture the unmanned aircraft.

I must admit that I laughed out loud at the claims by this Iranian engineer but sometimes the truth is stranger than the fiction. If war with Iran is on the horizon maybe we find out soon enough.

I hope war can be avoided but it would very interesting if the Persians had some secret alien tech up their sleeve. Dangerous and scary but interesting.

Wow!
Iran is really technologically advanced!

I don't believe it for a minute.

If Iran has saucer technology, there would be teenagers building better ones in their backyards in Japan, the US and Russia.

Haha that is funny. That engineer was most likely joking.
Gravitational force fields? We're not in star trek just yet.

Personally I find it strange that a country with a flying saucer would brag about a fleet of wooden airplanes. I did hear once from an Iranian I know that his country captured a saucer that fell into the Caspian sea Maybe it was Chinas flying saucer?. Either way this is very exciting
?Does this mean the US will finally put their saucers on the front as well?
More likely we will see the 40 year old f-16's wreaking havoc on anything foolish enough to cross it's path.

Sooo... the Iranians threw tea cups and 'saucers' at the RQ-170 until it spiraled down and landed softly in the desert?

This is a guy who tried to sell holidays to the moon on his spaceship. He also claims to have made a 'plasma reactor' out of a coke bottle.

How many of you have your view with regard to Iran influenced by what you have seen and heard rather than what you have seen and heard personally?

It never ceases to amaze,( our ignorance that is.)

Iranian UFO's have been talked about on here already, I remember reading about a thread where an Iranian scientist who had developed this technology shared it with all governments so no one country would be too powerful but can't find it.

Here are a couple links about it being talked about on here.

Engineer Behind Iranian Saucer Technology Comes Forward

"Iran Unveils Flying Saucer" : Zohal

Both of these are from about a year ago.

For just 2,000 Euro you can "reserve" one of his 10KW generators.

....and of course you have to agree to not share the surplus energy without contacting them first and splitting the money with them.

Shhhhhhh, don't tell anyone, there are only 1,000 of them available to reserve; but you can also reserve one of the 10,000 3-4 KW models for only 5,000 Euros. Cheap by any standards and who knows, perhaps a few years from now you might see your reserved generator?

I will take a longer look at the links but after a brief glance, it appears to be the same guy. The linked article is relevant because of his claims that not only does the technology exist but has now been used in the field taking down the RQ-170.

I wouldn't wager a red cent on his claims being accurate, even at 10000 to 1 odds, but am willing to keep an open mind. As I stated in my thoughts on the article, if the drum beats we hear are true, we might find out soon how believable his assertions are.

The article was to make fun of him. Use the link to his site in my post above or in the article you linked.

You can send him thousands of Euros to reserve things not built yet, donate money to him or buy his books all at one location.

I would, but right now I have a much better use of my money. The temperature is dropping 'round these parts and money burns quite well in the furnace, even it does burn a little too quickly. This is just one in a long list of things that I will do with my money before I can even think about donating to the good scientist.

the arrongant and nationalist comments are funny to watch, the US thinks it's the only country in the world with advanced tech. hahaha, the time will come and the US will taste it's own medicine.

Well then I say we wave the white flag!

They have the religion of peace.
They have the inside track to bringing the Twelth Imam.
They are only building peaceful nuclear weapons-er, I mean medical supplies.
They have flying saucers.

What else might they have?
Phasers?
Light Sabres?
Yoda?

We're doomed!

You forgot the old Russian Subs they acquired just prior to the mysterious case of the cables that carry the Internet being severed on the sea floor in that part of the world.

I wonder whatever happened with that? I had not thought about that in a while. I noticed they acquired the Subs and then that started, but never saw anyone else suggest a link.

This is actually from a guy who has a foundation in the Netherlands, so apparently he sold them a flying saucer? Obviously its to draw people in to cheat them out of money.

It's the old game of centering the story in a place where the target cannot confirm or deny the truth of the story. It's an obvious lure.

As much as people are saying that the west is "beating the war drums", all I have to say is that Iran has a pretty good "back-beat" on their own percussion instruments going on.

I like to think that I avoid most jingoistic rhetoric and I also try to not fall into the fallacy of believing that simply because someone spends the most, they get the most.

However, facts are facts. The evidence supports the assertion that the United States military is the most advanced military in the world by many times, if not an order of magnitude.

Fact: The United States spends more on its military than any other country in the world. Not only do they spend more, but 40% of all military spending in the world is by the United States, the remaining 60% is every other country in the world.

Fact: In terms of number of troops, the United States military is ranked 8th. So the extremely large expenditures aren't going to employ a disproportionate number of troops.

Theory: That money is being used on something and that something is the advanced weapon systems already in the field, the even more advanced weapon systems developed but not yet deployed and research into even more advanced weapon systems.

Conclusion: While not proven beyond any doubt, the evidence clearly points to the fact that the United State military is far more advanced than any other on the planet.
